This makes the game more fun with these new charts.
In Deluxe charts, the continue gem cost is higher than normal charts, and no free continue if you made a mistake in intro stage.

Honestly doesn’t look to much harder than normal firestarter, I’d even say that it looks easier (I don’t have the deluxe version of firestarter yet, so I can’t really say). You can get the dp in no time

so, i play beatstar a lot, is it easier to play with thumbs or the pointer finger? i majorly struggle getting diamond perfects, In fact I don't even have a single one but i have over 350 songs
It’s personal preference. I’m better with index fingers. Some are better with thumbs. You just gotta figure it out for yourself really.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I actually like the normal version of Firestarter better. The deluxe feels like it has too many note gaps which is kinda off-putting to me. Personally my favourite thing about Firestarter was at the start the hold arrows, the down arrows just kinda feel like the worst replacement, I feel like the deluxe chart doesn't go as hard as the normal chart. Yes it's more difficult in deluxe but I just feel like they could of made it better (Best examples I can think of is, the middle and american idiot, those two go really hard). Grats on the diamond! The last stage def goes pretty hard though.
