- Less flashy than a giant robot duel, but much quicker paced! Technology is everywhere! Last year I decided to learn more about it, by attempting to learn the basics of Arduino, and build a robot that could bake a cake...well 90% of one anyways.

The PottsBott 2000 is an ongoing, never ending project. I will continue working on this thing until it is complete, or until I die. Stayed tuned to watch a video documenting either events.
The current problem is that it seems like the mixer is giving off an electric field that is making the servos go wild, and totally messing everything up. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem, please get in touch!

The quality of this series is way too high for the amount of subscribers / views you have, man. Seriously, the muppets?! I'm glad I stumbled upon your channel :)
Edit: That was genuinely heartwarming! "Let me show you how it's done!" awwww
Haha thanks man, I appreciate you taking notice :) And yes, Cassie is amazing.
Marit van Delden I thought the same thing
100% agreed! This guy needs way more attention.
Learning robotics was one of the most valuable and challenging skills I've taken on thus far. If there's any robot nerds out there, give me some tips! I wanna get better!
You did an amazing job
Thanks man, that means a lot
first you always have problem with the code, even you text your robot 10000 time the day you presnt your robot he will stop hahaha
I don't know how I ended up subbed to your channel and in a quick look back through your other videos it doesn't look like I watched any of them. However I loved this. The insight into robotics was amazing and impressive.
Coming from an IT Sys Admin perspective: The electronic bits are always going to be the hardest part. Every time. Debugging code is easy. Debugging hardware is... hard. Get good at figuring out the common problems with the electronics. You also did an amazing job for somebody brand new to everything to do with this episode. Keep learnin.
I feel like I'm watching a TV show. The quality of the content is amazing.
You've honestly been a huge inspiration to me man. I've learned so many things thanks in part to you. Thank you so much, keep doing what you're doing
Thanks for sharing man, its always amazing to hear that you have a positive impact on people :)
Took a break to watch this in between interviewing/recruiting and all I can think is, ATTAINMENT LEVEL 9000!
The old lady is so sweet omggg. Also the Muppet part was just awesome man
This is so great. Found you via Mike Boyd - excellent marketing work with the challenge. Subscribed and gonna binge some more episodes!
I love the wes Anderson aesthetic 😍
a Canadian with a beard, and a plaid coat, perfect
Welcome to the channel man!
Why thank you, and good response time considering that most other people take over a week! And i'm Canadian as well (Ontario)
From the perspective of an Electrical Engineering student, one thing I would consider is using T slotted extrusions for framing, and v slotted extrusions for framing when you want a motor to be able to move along the "track." These allow for a really modular design, making quick changes in size very easy. Currently I am using as parts of a self playing guitar Maybe if you want to make another robotics project with your new skills you could learn an instrument and have a robot play that instrument. Love the vid!
Great work, it's amazing how this channel hasn't taken off, especially how well produced this series is. Best of luck moving forwards!
I took a robotics class back in high school and man was this episode a throwback!! Great work as always, looking forward to the next one 😄
You got robotics class in high school!?! Jealous
Wow episode 2 was great, I'm so excited for the rest of the series
Thanks, me too!
How much time did you spend learning the basics? Like, from when you new nothing, to when you were able to get a servo to work?
I can't answer for him but servos are made to be easy to control. If you have any C experience, it would probably take less than 10mn for the code writing, a bit more maybe for the wiring. But anyways, it's a really quick process.
nice dude! so cool watching you learning all these things and progressing in life :)
I've been binging these after seeing it on Reddit, please keep these up!
Fantastic! Love your persistence and product! Keep going friend!
absolutely spectacular!
Awesome production values on the editing, an impressive feat too - kudos!
Great work man good job I know it takes
Lots of efforts to do and for editting also, I salute your dedication and passion brother keep it up 👍👍👍
Amazing work as always. I can't believe how much effort went into this video, you guys are awesome.
It was insane. Totally worth it though!
wow dude, this was an amazing video. Hope you start uploading again!
Wow, thanks man! Will be uploading either late this week, or early next. Gotta get back to consistently uploading after that Mike Boyd shoutout! What a guy!
this channel is amazing
Literally JUST saw this on Global and i LOVE THIS
Nice! Thanks for checking it out :)
I'm genuinely surprised you're not famous.
The moment of silence when the beater didn't work and then cut to I'll show you how it's done killed me
Ya Cassie is amazing! I give all credit of the success of this episode to her and Mike.
Mark my words, this guy gonna boom soon 💯
Dude, amazing work. Just Subbed!
Woooo! Welcome aboard :)
