Wow, Hotashi still plays strive? He only ever seems to stream SF6 lobby screen to complain about strive when he's not complaining about SF6 while not playing it. Must be hard to play with a full block list, what does he do when somebody plays better than him? Just accept it?
Slayer's not that good bro. Funny big damage character but his neutral is too linear and his defense is some of the worst in the game. His mixup potential also isn't great unless it's off knockdown. He's gonna fall off at high levels of play as people get used to him.
@@VordtManagreed. I’m a Slayer main but I too notice his weaknesses. It kinda feels like the early days of Ganondorf in Smash; people wanted him nerfed until they found his exploits. Slayer is similar. He’s new so he feels unstoppable, but he has glaring weaknesses. In time, people will find them. Still a beast of a character though.
@@VordtMan I don't think so. If his damage remains untouched, he's going to be an absolute menace. His mix is more than what many characters have and the reward is so strong that whatever weaknesses he has don't even really matter in most matchups. I expect he will fall to zoning but c'est la vie.
@@SmilePecoSmilehis weakness in neutral is pretty glaring. He doesn’t have a good backdash, he can’t even dash block, and mappa hunch can be 6Pd. He’s solid but he’s really not top tier and not enough to shake up the meta. He’s a solid mid tier that can def put in work if used properly like Baiken or Aba .
