- Mizuno's Keith Mitchell has consistently been one of the best drivers of a golf ball on the PGA Tour. In 2023, Keith led the PGA Tour's Total Driving stat (combined distance and accuracy)for the season through to the end of the Fed Ex Cup playoffs. We caught up with Keith and fellow Mizuno players Ben Griffin, Bailey Tardy and Steven Fisk to talk driving and drivers.

Love to hear guys like this talk about their clubs. So tuned into their specs, and having exactly the same shaft speaks to me
Loved hearing Keith talk through how he has tinkered with his club. A lot of science behind that swing.
Best Mizuno video to-date. Keith is the man, master of his craft.
thanks - appreciate the feedback.
Great video - same shaft and adapter for the past 5 years. Love it.
My nugget from this video.. Don't chase optimization, chase repeatability. 😊
Living for the Keith Ben banter 😂
Love Keith Mitchell and his commentary on his Mizuno driver. My bag is all Mizuno and I have the St 190 and love it. Hope to see Mitchell in the winners circle soon!!!!
Still playing the st190 10.5 std
Same here, 9°
Great seeing you at The RSM Classic this year. Go Dawgs!
Man, I wish I could get a custom fit by Team MIZUNO! Love the clubs.
Good to hear 'prospeak' as opposed to 'commentatorspeak' as it's much better informed
What shaft is that? Hzrdous Blie?
Kevin is a beast!
nobody going to talk about that spit shine?
That chat here was painful.
@keith help a brother out with some of those golf pride victory cords
Health & Safety having kittens.
All the best players are at LIV that’s why
When Bryson and DJ and Bubba and a few others aren't there, it suddenly becomes a bit easier...
Needs a matte crown, model a driver after the original sim driver and then you have something
Amazing that u can be the be3t driver and not be a top player
If you drive every fairway, hit every green in regulation, and two putt each green, you have shot even par for the round. 50% of the shots are putts. 36 strokes. Probably hitting driver 10-14 times a round.
Who????????
instead of golf by talent, the modern game is golf by technology...
in the past, a professional golfer had to control his fade with the mastery of his game, not the mastery of technology.
i wonder how this man would do with a traditional driver that was not designed for high handicap golfers so that they DO NOT have to master their game, or hit the driver square on the screws?
i imagine most of the 'top golfers' would be very average golfers with real golf equipment instead of novelty gear. first they ruined golf by introducing novelty drivers into professional tournaments...then they destroyed the competition of shot makers by lengthening the courses so that only 300 in the air from a mishit t shot is competitive...
and today we have the most boring game of professional golf in history, where the game is reduced to a handful of linebackers in long drive contests, who can only score if they have wedges to greens, and irons into par 5s...
what a stupid game the pga has created in place of the traditional game...all to sell novelty clubs. the pga is like the FDA acting as agent for the drug companies...the pga is simply the agent for the novelty club industry, and it has ruined professional golf.
I don’t think the massive difference is the modern driver. I think today’s bombers would have killed persimmon clubs too. In the 60-80s golfers had to hit 3,4,5 irons into the green. If I pro could hit a bladed long iron, they were not a pro
@@chevy4x466 go ahead and watch some of todays 'bombers' when they try to hit a persimmon driver!! hahahaha...
the drivers changed everything...they don't have to hit the drive clean anymore and it still goes 300 pretty straight. that is a monumental difference between hitting a bladed 4 iron and a cavity back 4 iron.
the pros of the past were simply much better players, and the pros of today would not look the same without their novelty equipment.
but what is worse is changing the courses to eliminate the shot maker competition...
imagine when they changed the tennis racket to the new larger more powerful rackets, they also raised he net 12 inches so that only very tall people could now compete.
that's what happened with golf.
give them the stupid clubs, but keep the courses the same so the competition remains. if anything, SHORTEN the courses so the novelty clubs aren't as big a factor.
the way i see it the novelty clubs ruined the continuity of the game, and then the pga destroyed the competition by changing the length of golf courses.
tournament courses should not exceed 7000 yards, that way ALL golfers are competitive not just the 'bombers'.
that's not golf...it's novelty golf. and it's boring.
@@tonysmario817 the players were better, today they r a bunch of gorillas 🦍
exactly right, amigo.
and that is because the criminal pga has created these gorillas to replace traditional shot making golfers...and all to sell a bunch of novelty drivers!!
all that is needed is to return golf tournaments to traditional course lengths, and the real shot makers will come out of the woodwork, and eat these gorillas lunches.

Boring
have to be a bit of a gearhead for sure.
Gotta get the big man on the channel ASAP
