Wow, you are a magician, or I would say a god of repairs. Excellent job in restoring the broken piece of wing, along with the same paint work as well.
    Love it.

Excellent work! Thank you for sharing!
I have a dent in the leading edge of a rohacell foam core carbon skin wing. The foam was compressed and/or crushed under the skin. Even though the foam has separated from the skin does it make sense to cut out the carbon skin? The carbon has not fully rebound to the proper lead edge shape after working the area a bit. It's a small area less than the size of a quarter.

Where the upper and lower skins come together in the front, I can separate and open the seam enough to fill with some material but if I do so there is still a slight depression from the original dent. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you! You have some beautiful mountains to fly and explore! Enjoy!

@@kirkglundal4289 "size of a quarter"=about the size of thumb?
For small dents, just poke a small hole with a needle and let the epoxy soak in without removing the carbon. I don't think epoxy is necessary if there is no damage (hard and solid) to the dented part. Light weight epoxy putty is used for the dented part. Little change in weight.
It may not be a problem to form the lead edge shape only with putty. I don't know the size, so it may not be the best answer.

Yes, sorry. Small like thumb. A 'quarter' is in reference to a quarter dollar coin which is really a western term. Thank you for the tips and link to the fairing epoxy. I have been practicing on small dents with some 15 minute epoxy mixed with microballoons. I use a small plastic card to spread to the profile. It works well but it is a bit draggy. Do you make the profile shape by sanding or do you form the epoxy to the profile by careful use of the tool (plastic card)?
Thank you again for sharing your repair skills! Much can be learned by watching your techniques! :)
