Totally with you about how too many people are “pumping out decks” and how disappointing that is. This deck is not one of those. I followed Julia’s creation of this deck card by card on her instagram and knew from the beginning this deck was going to be something really special.

I bought this deck on pre order & couldn’t wait for it to arrive (UK so had to wait impatiently 😂).
I love it 🖤 I’ve had a few of the card images as prints for a long time & some of them are integral to my deity altars.
My ancestry is Irish & Scottish & this deck does feel like coming home.
I’ve never felt drawn to buying the original deck, Hidden Realms, even though I do still very much appreciate the art

I love this deck! I do wish they would’ve done full color thistles on the backing.
The card backs look like it's the exact same color as the throws on your couch.

hidden realms is my deck i feel so much with it, I'm waiting to find it in glastonbury before I buy it. thats where hidden realms came from any other deck i have bought online i feel no connection but anything that comes from glastonbury is like my soul deck.

Thank you Raecine! I was on the fence with this deck myself initially. I don’t have the Hidden Realm - I love the artwork but it something about the energy just didn’t call to me. When this deck came out, I thought it would be the same - beautiful artwork but not really for me. I watched a few flip throughs and it was really when I saw it next to Hidden Realm that it clicked. Somehow the comparison showed the energy of this deck. Needless to say, I am just waiting for my copy to arrive in the post (in my case it takes a month for shipping!). So glad you love this deck - I’m now even more excited for the day mine arrives! Hope you are back to full health soon 🖤

Thank you for sharing this. :) I'm happy to see this isn't just a "repeat" of the Tarot of the Hidden Realm. Like you mention, I've also noticed too many new decks riding the wave of previous successful decks but without adding anything new or unique really... So I'm glad to see that isn't the case here. Really liking the court cards in this deck, and it does seem to give more of a human witch vibe than the faery hidden realm vibe we all love already. :) I'm putting this on my wish list for sure.
I "slept on this deck" too since I have her other deck, but I'm glad to hear it has a separate voice. I saw the Magician on Instagram the other day and was immediately intrigued. Between my Scottish heritage and the research I'm doing into different types of witch practice, I now want to learn more. Excited for your comparison to the Tarot of the Hidden Realm!
I really have been debating get this one. It's actually really freaky, because for months now ive been having some astral experiences with the horned god and calieach, which i didnt know were them at the time. And then when this deck came out and i saw flip throughs, it felt like this deck was an invitation to communicate with those beings closer. It was like a punch in the gut...and im still debating to get it i feel i juat should 😂
