    are hard to reach with the peace and quiet that comes with it, found some good gold and fished some amazing places. if you want to see a video on it visit
    CZcams and search for: 4x4 motor home SLRV Commander , you will notice the new paint job and we have made a few upgrades, if you are interested contact us and
    do an inspection, you will not be disappointed😁

    Another great setup and video. the only thing I noticed that might be of considderation.. re the treads being in a bag.. all the dirt and grime goes into the bag, whereas otherwise it would shake off or fall off on its own and get a wash when it rains. The video gave me a few great ideas for my 80 series that I'm fitting out at present. Thanks.

    Instead of using aluminium sheet for your slide out awning, use a solar panel instead. It will provide shade for you underneath, yet supply power at the same time and conveniently and safely slides away under your roof rack when driving.

  • @spookyoffroadoverlanding7147

    A tip for Jim ans other 80 &100 owners.
    AGM batteries are good under the bonnet of theses Cruisers because they can have a separate semii enclosed battery box that is semi sealed / insulated from the engine bay heat. You can buy a battery enclosure for the RHS that is like the Toyota LHS enclosure. It is sealed to the bonnet and the front is open to the wind behind the head lights.
    I have owned my 93 1HDT for more than 20 years and I get approximately 5 years out of AGM batteries. I use 2 of the same all rounder AGM batteries that are both cranking and deep cycle. Currently the 2 batteries I have in there are 135ah and 1,000 cca. Yes the numbers are correct and yes it was a very tight fit but a little bit of modification was needed.
    Regards

    • @Alex.G
      @Alex.G  Před 4 lety
