I love when KG says 3rd times a charm while holding up 2 fingers on the 4th time lol
Hey Rage Kage,
I just wanted to let you know you're my #1 guitar influence. I've been playing 12 years and your melodies and solos are still the most fun to play. Thanks for existing!
This was an amazing series of lessons. So fun!! Tenacious D!!! So goood!!!
You are so passionate and loving watching you playing like that 🇧🇪🙏
You are the best Kg
2024 here, and this song will never get old! Tenacious D ROOCCKK!!!!!!!!..🎸
I love KG so much. So goddamn underrated.
Thank you so much for doing this!
It is great to see you professional types having the same trouble I do with solos and playing my own songs sometimes.
Keep on rockin'!
Woz
Awesome tutorial, you guys are the best.
sounded awesome every time
Late to the party, enjoying this and the rest of the lessons. This is truly CZcams gold.
I love this channel. KG and JK you guys make my day!!! Comedy with Guitarings!!!
nice you got the right moves having a lot of fun playing along
Thats why we need to get our hands on some Tenacious D awesome sauce!
KG is my favorite guitarist after Paul Gilbert, no joke. I love the melody you've created, you are awesome man.
Man.. The D! I did some background work on POD, you guys were one of my biggest motivations for picking up the guitar!
awesome !
this channel needs some promotion.. cause you guys are awesome!
I have to say. That rocked my f-ing socks off. You finally did it.
it did sounded awesome
awesome , come to Chile please :)
i always find my self unconciousley smiling then when the video is over i realize
Fuckin dope. Thanks to you most rockin of dudes!
@drppopinjay its complicated, you can think of it a number of ways, it is mostly E minor pentatonic, the first string bend adds a 2b which implies phrygian but the rest of it is not so lets just call that a passing tone, there is the blues not played on the 14th fret of the 3rd string at one point so it is minor blues, but the run not shown in this vid but you all want to know is a descending line from the 15th fret first string, in E Aeolian or natural minor. Hope that made sense
@ipheltu i really don't know. i've watched this at least 7,000 times alone, so there are at least 589 other people whose brains weren't melted by awesomeness in part 1 and were able to continue on.
People don't think they can handle such raw power
keep up the good work :D :D :D
they truly are
1:47 reminds me of the bit in pick of destiny where KG makes JB simulate a real live concert 😂😂
Kyle's layin' down the baroque-ass licks like a master bard of ye olden times, and all I can think is I need more! Is there a composer that inspired you to make such a juicy solo?
You guys gotta advertise some more. Thousands of people know you guys, but they don't know guitarings. This video was awesome haha
This channel is awesome. Reminds me of myself when i jam out with friends, except supremely more awesomesauce.
Hope to see these 2 and Jack live someday in Portugal.
guys i might be a little late but what are kones settings for his amp?
@ipheltu I suspect a lot of them aren't used to listening to anything that doesn't use auto tune
Kyle has some Mad skills.
please do the delicious rhythm of double team and Kones can show us his live solo too haha!
to be honest, I kinda like that. That way iff you ask them something the chance that they answer you is way bigger
I have two guitarist I really look to as inspiration, David Gilmour, and Kyle Gass.
kage is getting old, still love em
i can play the solo up to the part where the bend is like REALLY high on the 15th fred :D
1:38, gig simulator!
Kones ain't bullshittin'. All of these tries sound awesome.
CATCH IT
WHAT KIND OF GUITAR DOES JOHN KONEHSKY USE???
wtf this was made a year ago WHY DID I NOT KNOW TIHS
LOL @ 2:19! SUCCESS!!
Meh. I hate it when people categorically say that certain genres are bad.
A true music lover finds awesome stuff in every single genre.
The problem is rather, that the majority of kids these days only listens to music on radio and TV and never really makes an effort to search for real quality music.
The dumbed down mainstream media and ignorant parents who don't show their kids real music is more to blame than this generation itself, though.
Music is not dying. You just have to look for it.
What is the secret of your powers?
@killerkoala79
BC RICH Mockingbird?
If you snap a pic of KG’s face at 3:53, you will have yourself a golden screensaver....
Wallpaper.
@chrisrlangley Unfortunately, alot of Tenacous D stuff is technically difficult. Cage is crazy when it comes to playing guitar, so for beginners, its gonna be tuff. Usually if your good enough to play the solo, you can pick up what they are doing from watching. I'm sure there aretabs out there somewhere. Good luck bruh!
catch it ......
@ipheltu I'm a kid and TD rules!
This song makes me think of a Fleetwood Mac song i can't name right now.
sweet little lies mabie
Could you TAB this?
@rj12ify the true face is at 1:11 i guess...;)
2:20
Does anybody want that banner in the background as much as I do?? haha awesome!!
i didnt learn anything still liked it
I can do everything except the long solo, becuase of my not-so-good guitar which cant make any sound from hammerons and pulloffs on high notes :P
@ipheltu I'm 16...sadly I guess most of us are
3:50 cat shit.
Ha this vid is 4:20 long.
please close up on the fingers next time :)
wow. KG's lookin old D:
LOL 4:20 minutes long!!!!
The electric is so loud
This is so fucking awesome, but so non-tutorial it's not funny. He plays it different every time! Every time it's amazing, but like really...unless you can harness the power of Rage Kage you're fucked.
Unfortunately yes they're all listening to the shitted on version of "music" known as pop, rap, dubstep, hip-hop, etc. Music's dying
The host is clearly way out of this time and somehow finds a way to disrespect Kyle with different ways to play a song that he didnt write.
Its Kones the lead guitarrist, he's a beast and wrote it the tasty bridge from The Metal, that shit is impossible.
