8.5 mile Windfarm Walk

- An 8.5 mile walk around the Lochgoin reservoir circuit a Whitelee Windfarm.
The walk illustrates just how quickly it can get cold and dark when out walking. I planned how long the route would take me, but I didn't factor in how much time would be taken up by taking photographs, vlogging and chatting to people on my route. I had to run quite a bit of the route just to make sure I arrived back at the car before dark, which resulted in making 1 or 2 small navigational mistakes. Lesson learned.

Thank you. I’m not actually a fan of windfarms. I think they’re a bit of a scar on the Scottish countryside. It’s almost like everywhere you look there’s a wind turbine. However, it does mean lots of people get a chance to walk & cycle along these open access tracks.
T 1 out & about I’m not a fan either because we them in Canada as well but what can you do. At least something good is coming out of it. Doug
