I have this device. It's about 10 years old, 7 years laying in basement (long story). Pulled it out from basement few day's ago ordered some new bag's and filters (thank God they still exist) machine working like new, awesome. Ps it's great for dry washing carpets.

It’s just remarkable when think that some machines from some of the biggest dedicated vacuum brands don’t come close to the performance of this little machine. The power of the brush bar is truly fierce! My branch shredding machine for the garden doesn’t even sound as powerful as this machine! This little machine is starting to become a little superstar! I think this is the best performance of any vacuum I’ve ever seen on a huge mess test!!! Amazing job!!! And keep the huge mess tests coming, please! :)
That’s a real aggressive brushroll. When you change the bag, you should see how much carpet fibers are in there. You might have a vacuum to rival VacLab’s “shredder”!

If you vacuum in the other direction that wouldn't be a problem. If you are pushing the pike up when going forward you are met with resistance. If you are pushing down when going forward, not so much.
And I thought I was the only one that liked Vorwerk vacuums. We always hear about Sebo, Miele,Kirby and so on but Vorwerk gets lost in the conversation. Great video.
Hey, i have a Vorwerk that is older than that one. Mine is the VK122 and that thing is just totally impressive.... a little 400 watts motor with is connected to a turbine in the tube before the bag. That make it extremely efficient and the air that come out of it into the container bag get out of it by a huge surface.... not like normal vacuum cleaner that suck the air coming into the bag by a little air port. in the normal vacuum cleaner, because the air is sucked by a little part of the bag, that make really fine particles get out of it and kill the motor, get back in the air of the room and everything that is on the bag get in front of the air port so the bag need to be replaced before it get full. your Vorwerk have it's motor after the bag like a normal vacuum cleaner but, it sucks the air by the big area of the bag not just by a tiny area of it and so, it's an excellent improvement and that's better than all the vacuum i know because, with my vacuum if i get a shoes lace for example and it's not stopped by the electric brush (for example when i use the normal brush), it can get around the turbine and, I'll need to take apart all the vacuum for take it off!. So, your is better than mine but the performances are the same. My electric brush is the EB350 with is not made for make dry cleaning on carpet but your is the EB351 with can do it!!! And i can tell you, it's really useful all you need is the brush special for that and a powder called Kobosan. it's a 250 watts motor on it! And it's why it not brush in the center because it's where is the belt for connect the electric motor to the brushes axe (i modified my vacuum cleaner so i can do dry cleaning and this is really useful when you see the price for get a carpet cleaned....) the only thing i not really like with that vacuum is the price.... that thing is around 2000USD with the electric brush, a normal brush for hard ground a flexible and some accessories. you also can get a handheld electric brush with the flexible that have the electric cable for sofa or car cleaning... it's excellent and work really well but, the price is scary i can tell you.... the good thing is it's easy to get everything you need on used market like Ebay for a way better price... my VK122 it around 100USD on it and you still can get the bags and stuff on Vorverk's website.... for a 25 year old vacuum, that's fantastic. But, it's better to get a newer one that the VK122 because you can't get the mechanical replacement part and for plug the EB 350 for example, you need an adaptor. To buy the good one it's easy, as long as it have the same connector for the brush assembly than the one on the video, it's ok because it means it's possible to put all the accessories up to the last model they released!
I know Kobold since my childhood, my aunt still have the VK 122 ! The VK 135 was my first Kobold, I never made such a mess but your test is sooo impressive ! Now i own the VK140 ( i offered my VK 135 to a friend ), i remember this line in the middle when using the EB 351. With the EB 360 ( that was coming with VK 140, now it is EB 400 ) there is no more metal part under the brush head, it is more lightweight and compact, you should try it and it fits the VK 135 ;-)

Can you pretty please do a major mess test with the nilflix (??? What even) and the Electrolux turbo brush?? Like that’s one I’ve bee hoping you’d do since forever
I can do that in this week. Only thing is that I have to go first with the standard nozzle so I can get the big or hard objects off from the rug. They would destroy the Electrolux turbo brush turbine. Then there still would be a lot of mess for the turbo brush. I also do the same test with the white Philips.

That's a really nice groomer. I groom the other way around where the pike stands up but wow that machine does a beautiful job.
Oh yes it is. Now I know to use the medium motor speed. High motor speed just makes it almost impossible to push.
