    Look up humble in the dictionary and you will see Bruce Springsteen. What a beautiful man with a beautiful soul.

    It's wonderful how he saves Clarence for the last, even after his wife whom he loves with all his heart. It speaks miles of their friendship

    16:42 When you see Bruce and Clarence holding hands. Those aren't band mates, they're brothers.
    I was heartbroken when Clarence died, not just for the all the years I pretended to play his solos by also for his family - and that includes Bruce.

    The "First Gentleman" of Rock and Roll. Mr Bruce Springsteen has paid all of his dues to be on top and when he arrives he pays his respects and honors all of those who played a part in his success.
    When Bruce brings the E Street Band onto the stage at the end of this clip, I was thinking that we will never see the likes of such a monolith of Rock and Roll as were standing there that night and receiving their due.

    My son asked me what my favorite rock and roll group was. He knows I love Springsteen, but if I’m honest with myself, the e street band isn’t the greatest…..BUT….
    Listening to their music puts me in a mood that no other music does. It can help me express and deal with all of my fluctuating emotions. I told him the e street band may not be the best band of all time, but their music touches me and so many others in a place that few, if any other artists does. Thanks Bruce.

    So grateful to have seen the boss live. Such a genuin and great performer. He really brings a balance of sad songs and bright. One of the reasons to why he is the pinnacle of Rock N' Roll artists. He embodies everything that Rock is supposed to be about. Love you Bruce!❤

      Precisely that. He sang about the joy and the sadness, the love and the heartbreak, the wins and the losses, the dramatic and the frivolous, the innocent hopes of youth and the hard reality of life. He embodied rock 'n roll like no other. Saw him once and can't wait to be back next year in San Siro.

    The rock critic Bill Wyman pointed out that Bruce was inducted just by himself, whereas, say, Tom Petty, was inducted with the Heartbreakers. They are equally enmeshed with their bands. Bruce and his manager Jon Landau are big players in the R&R Hall of Fame, so I'm sure it was purely intentional.

    • @darrenfried3071
      @darrenfried3071 Před 2 lety

      Bruce has spoken of this; it's not a secret. I believe he was very proud to have been inducted by himself, but then later reconsidered and felt like he should have insisted that the band go in too. I could be wrong.

    • @ChrisDutch

      All of Bruce’s studio albums were listed under his name. The E Street Band,for better or worse ,is listed as his touring unit so they show up on the live albums that have been released.
