Paulie is the best unbiased former champion boxing commentator/analyst period. Others are cool but they aren't as articulate and I'm sure other boxers know boxing but he breaks it down better than anyone in a way that fans can understand.

Spence is not a great big man. He’s a good basic fighter with fundamentals. Other than that he’s straight forward and no head movement and slow feet.

But Bud’s defense sucks and Spence has a solid solid chin. Spence never been knocked down and pretty much keeps up the pressure if you can’t hurt him. AND his shots can break bones

My thing about the being too big excuse? Terence has been at welterweight for 5 years! Lol his body has fully grown into the weight class whats mythical is Errol let’s himself balloon up to 175-180 and he’s been at the weight class his whole career. Not only that but people saying Spence is the stronger fighter is mistaken IMO. Bud is stronger than people think. Buds wrestling background plays a part. Spence's fans pick him because they think he's too big and strong I think they will see fight night that won't be the case. I got Bud by stoppage late.

And something about the way Spence fought Mikey Garcia make me wonder. As big as he is I thought he fought more cautiously than necessary. Sorry to be long winded.

First of all, nobody gettin KO’d… this is goin 12. Here’s how it goes…. Bud spends the 1st few rounds backing up and figuring Errol out, Errol takes most of rds 1-3. Then Bud starts to counter, pick up the pace and pick him apart and wins most of the middle rds 4-9. They get into a few exchanges in close rds 10-12. Bud wins a close SDEC 115-113ish. Hopefully, it doesn’t turn into a chess match and the world walks away dissatisfied like Floyd/Pac, Floyd/De La Hoya, De La Hoya/Trinidad.
Respect Paulie,but i think you have disregarded how Bud breaks down and nullifies bigger fighters.I think size misconception has been very misleading.Along with the resume garbage!!!

That's proof right there that Crawford is not as effective when fighting big men, who are still fresh and undefeated (hence Spence).
Remember: that fight ended with Crawford running away from Postol while dancing around the ring.
That showed me everything I needed to see.

Yea like i can see it going either way and i wouldnt be mad one bit as im a fan of both and and fan of boxing and no matter who wins and loses both are champs because they got in there and fought each other. I think Bud fades in the later rounds. He hasn’t gone the full 12 rounds, especially with a big welterweight like Spence before. And if Bud starts slow and can’t hurt Spence, I easily see Spence winning the fight by TKO or majority decision
It feels likes the outcome of this fight is solely dependent on the game plan and preparation of Bud.
We know how Spence fights and that he ALWAYS comes into a fight in the best shape of his life.
I get a feeling (judging from the open workout) that Bud will go offensively from the get go and try to give it to Spence.
He needs to have his career best endurance, strength and timing for that...

I don't know. Malignaggi is so passionate when he gives his take he can sway anyone's opinion, but I have to roll with Crawford for this one. Spence, as great as he is, from the outside looks like a guy who isn't eating enough. To me anyway, but what do I know.
I think the first few rounds will play out something like Garcia/Spence. Once Crawford realizes he has to fight spence who knows how it will play out from there especially with those 50/50 exchanges

Great fight but neither of them has fought a really great boxer. The best fighters they have fought are Porter, Brook, Benavidez, Ugas - solid guys but nothing special really at the elite level. It is crazy how boring 147 has become. Let's hope that some other good fighter except Ennis will come up to make it interesting again.

idk i think he can get spences respect early control distance and out box him if spence cant figure out how to get to crawford he might start taking risks. With that said i have spence in this fight. I just think everyone seems to think errol is just going to come forward like a bulldozer and walk into stuff the whole fight but i see him having a inside outside approach in this fight.

I am so disappointed in coach Cunningham referring to the car accident/retina tare as the difference in the fight! Spence has beaten every opponent in front of him; and, Spence has faced far greater opponents than Bud!
Coach Cunningham loves the gifted, talented, and flashy fighters! He teaches that style of fighting - a more slick approach rather than the standard approach! Coach... you saw exactly what Spence did in his last fight and there were no affects from Spence's accident nor eye surgery!
The Real reason Coach Cunningham wants Bud to win is because it will take some of the heat off of Team Erickson Lubin, upon Spence's embankment and intentional destruction into the 154-pound division, where Lubin, a good fighter, however with a suspect chin, already struggles to stay atop!!
Coaching will play a vital role in this fight! I don't believe this is a 50/50 fight! I believe Spence is a bigger, better, fighter than Bud! I know that coach Derrick James is a better, healthier, and intelligent coach than BoMac!

Spence’s size won’t be a factor. Porter is bigger, physically stronger and more muscular than Spence (albeit a few inches shorter). Bud handled him with ease. Bud also has the reach advantage over Spence in this fight.
