Lifting isn't the word I would use. Plump. Anti-aging. It's a subtle difference that has the effect of making you look healthy, well-rested and youthful. Not youthful in the sense that you look younger, but as in you've aged beautifully and have retained your natural plumpness and elasticity. It's like fluffing a pillow so it gains back it's shape and fullness.

It’s been long known that molecules larger than 500 Da won’t be readily absorbed through skin. Collagen is larger than 500 Da; however, there is a recently published study that demonstrated absorption of exogenous recombinant collagen via hair follicles and sebaceous glands & increase of type III collagen in dermis. (I’m not a dermatologist)
I'm not a dermatologist but I asked mine and she said collagen cannot be absorbed through the skin so these products are a bit misleading. The residual collagen left on the face after using them can make your skin feel tighter for a couple hours though!
@@hattialim This isn’t entirely true. Indeed collagen is a very large molecule but it can be engineered to a smaller size. Recombinant collagen less than 500 Da can indeed be absorbed. This company claims that their collagen is less than 500 Da.
I have medical condition related to collagen, it doesn’t absorb at all, just another money grabbing scam!
There’s been mix up lifting kits around for years. Great before a night out or special occasion. Looks like your skin is healthy. One thing I must say is about aging thin skin, it can cause a sort of redness like rosacea, and it doesn’t necessarily go away. You and your Mum have great skin.
Instant effects are usually due to material from the product sitting atop the skin and filling in wrinkles and such, right? Would be interesting to see how long the effects last and if the serum shows gradual change over months.
The ingredients seem legit but the fibers and mixing stuff feels rather gimmicky. Just my opinion.

Yeah I didn't see much results on you. I saw more on Alfred, specifically in the jawline area and apples of the cheeks. Your mom definitely had the best of results! Definitely lifted and softened her lines. Thanks for showing us these cool collagen fibers!

It looks like it defines your cheekbones more and that makes it look lifted!
For about 277 USD I can get plasma lifting mixer with hyaluronic acid. It feels more effective than this, but sure, if you' just want to look better for special occasions and don't want to invest so much money, it might be.a good solution for you.

I've not heard of this. That's actually pretty neat! Most products make big claims with little result, but this one actually performs well. It's a bit of a shame that one packet produces so little solution though. How long did the effect seem to last?
It’s probably because you don’t need that much we often apply too much product then the skin absorbs so they’re probably only giving you the amount that your skin takes in before the rest just sits on top same for your hair.

it won’t do anything a hyaluronic acid won’t do for 10x the price! collagen can’t be penetrated into the skin, the molecules are far too big no matter what you do with them. it’s all marketing

Either that amount is too much for just one side of the face or it’s like when you mix super glue to a piece of styrofoam, once melted it gets this transparent plastic consistency..
Before side looks more lifted than the after.😭

None of you have wrinkles not even your mom, first of all congratulations on those genes but we need a real wrinkly person. Lol I thank my mother and grandmother because I too do not have wrinkles at 52 and I know it’s the genes, I use skin care of course but I know the truth. Haha yet I still spend a small fortune on my skin care and make up for that matter.
I do love these kinds of videos, you always seem to find the craziest things and then everyone follows. I don’t know why people always get mad when someone copies them, it’s the greatest complement.

I'm surprised that there actually does look like a lift on the side of the face where the product is used, the most obvious result is on your mom. I'd be interested to know how long the effect lasts, especially since this is quite an expensive kit.

What blows my mind is that young girls who are nearly flawless are "lifting" their faces. I guess their faces aren't lifted enough. What in the world have we gone into.... I am 50ish and have grown children, and I have not had botox, fillers, lip injections, lipo, sculpting, butt balloons, or anything else. I am now trying to find a product just to improve my skin, since I never even used a proper skin care program in my life.
