Anyone in 2024?
Yes
I
Yeahhh!!!!
Yes
Yo
I think she's the most beautiful woman of all time. Totally mesmerising whatever she does and she can even make a bin liner look the business. Atomic and that brilliant outfit she was wearing and Heart of Glass. That dress and scarf were dynamite đđŒ
confermo tutto, incredibile in Atomic, ma in tutto
agreed, mesmerizing indeed
I agree with you.
YES
Debbie is the ultimate package! The lips, the cheekbones, the hair, the swagger and ohhh the voice! Plus living the 1970s mean street New York punk scene!
Looks like she's channeling Nancy Sinatra here, fashion-wise.
She sure is, just my type of girl:) I love girls who are small, sexy, good looking and mysterious and deep :)
Isn't she British?
Nope, American.
So dam special , doesn't even have to try she's just got IT
Itâs ridiculous how much I love this song , âin the fleshâ and âslow motionâ are magnificently performed.
I love slow motion!
When I hear the double "darling" (especially the second one) at 1:49, I just melt.
hear exactly what your sayin, anh wat u mean
Me too.
Very dreamy
You are right ,no other version has that certain uhhh
Omg same itâs the reason Iâm obsessed with this song I didnât know this one as a kid
Debbie was more than gifted. She had an otherworldly presence.
đ
In â76 Debbie was 31âŠ.Doesnât look like a day over 20 ! Her voice is dreamy and breathy perfection, yet she smoked. Very beautiful yet a wild child look. The girl was and is, a paradox. Add to this her amiable and agreeable interview personality and it is hard to think of anyone today who comes close. A shout out too for the bandâŠit all just came together perfectly. Love Blondie.
I didn't know she was that old. I thought she might have been born 10 years later.
she was gorgeous and still is!!!
I don't get the impression she was a heavy smoker; unlike many of her contemporaries, she was rarely photographed with a cigarette.
I used to have a VHS tape. This was the first song. Debbie is a goddess, but don't forget they were a great BAND.
Her voice is so naturally and amasing, she is a very succesful singer and a very lovely woman...
I was 13 when this heavenly creature came into my heart. I was mesmerised but her beauty and aura. I have never come across anyone like her don't think I ever will. Plenty of copy cats she and the band are one of a kind. Love her love Blondie best band ever đ
She has a roughness and a delicateness at the same time. Pretty with a divine voice and charisma. You can tell she loves it, with her little smiles here and there, in her songs.
Another lesbian.
I feel you brother ...Deborah Harry, Stevie Nicks, Kim Carnes, Kim Wilde, Terri Nunn and Kate Bush rocked my world.
ĐąŃ ĐŒĐ°Đ»ŃŃĐžĐș ОлО ĐŽĐ”ĐČĐŸŃĐșĐ°?
@m v ŃŃ?
Her voice is so divine...
Who is still listening in October 2020? We love you Blondie!!!!!
When she just take off her hat and shows her messy but stylish beautiful hair, she make me fall in love again.
AGREED!!!!!
Im in love with her always and forever
And that smile as the camera zooms in †1:51
She was a stone fox back in da day.
She elicits the kind of emotions that a woman was created for. I call it a woman's power.
Nobody has a better upper lip than Debbie Harry
She has a natural "cupid's bow" that 1930s film stars used to draw on.
You noticed it too.
If you could see her small lips, you would be silent !
What does that even mean.
I always stare at her lips, they are beautiful. She has a magnificent face. My lips are similar. I grew up to look like her. I was 8, 9 and up loving her in the 70s. I'll be 49. đ
New York, NY.
I just can't get enough of her beautiful voice, she is an very cute Angel â„ïžâ€ïž
Watching Blonde makes yearn for the older days.
Blondie has already surprised three generations.
Absolutely beautiful song. Sends a tingle down my spine
Growing up in Australia in the 70s & 80s I remember when "Molly" Meldrum first played them on 'Countdown', the weekly music show he used to host. Like so many others I was smitten equally by Debbie Harry's beauty and talent. It took me over 35 years before I saw the band live but I don't think I will ever forget it.
This could be Blondie's best song? An under-appreciated gem.
Debbie said in an interview that 'In The Flesh' was her favourite, and Blondie's first song to be released, if I'm not mistaken.
Sharon Jensen Spot on. Though Debbie wrote in her new book that it reached number one, it in fact only reached number 2 but close enough
Balcony rapture and heart of glass are better.
One of them surely.
No way
Beautiful as she is, twice as much a true artist
After all the great blondie songs this is still one of their best , timeless
I like how they did a bow after their performance. Blondie is classic!
Nothing is more gorgeously sung than this song. She is TRULY an ANGEL. Bob Samick
I just can't get enough from her... she is the greatest singer ever lived
In the Flesh. If only ..
One of the worlds most Beautiful women. X
Dammit Debbie! Such an angel.
'I couldn't resist you, I'm not deaf dumb and blind.'
God, this makes me cry!!!
Her voice is so pure. And this was long before auto-tune.
This song had a retro feel to it even back then, didn't it? It's reminiscent of an earlier decade. By contrast, "Atomic" seems to be from the future.
OMG !! This woman ooozes sensuality and sexuality A TRUE FEMININE
I see why my brothers and I listened to blondie all the time. Her sound really brings one back to a good thing.
This is a rock and roll history moment. When this video aired in Australia, Blondie finally broke big over there on the airways, after only having success on the club tour in England and the U.S. Soon after the Australian success, they had the manager and record label that would take them to the top, all over the world.
I remember Debbie saying the best thing about Australia was the plentiful and excellent heroin.
As an Aussie, totally agree I think we all where in total amazement
We can thank Ian "Molly" Meldrum for that (and I remember when he first played it on 'Countdown')
@@scrumpyhunter8561 I can agree with that!
Eternal gratitude to Australia.
Debra Harry evoked so many different emotions, and this awesome song is a great example.
Hard to believe she was already 30 when the first Blondie album came out.
This was Blondie's first ever hit when, in Australia, it made number 2 in November 1977.
Their massive breakthrough album, Parallel Lines, was produced by Australian Mike Chapman, of Chinni-Chap fame.
Debbie looks so hot here. She was the love of my life back in the day.
She still is to me...
Absolutely gorgeous and she still is....
She was an absolute beauty! Effortlessly beautiful! Could sing so well.and the best top lip ever.
Fabulous...so obvious that Blondie was heading for stardom.
I was born on the wrong year... this song is the proof. đđ
most beautiful song I've ever had the privilege of hearing
shes almost too beautiful
I was always amazed how the other band members could be on stage with Debbie without catching on fire.
Their first album still sounds fresh.
I love her, she's fantastic !
Blondie have so many success,its amazing!!!And more she was beautiful!đđđ
Darlin' darlin' darlin'
I can't wait to see you
Your picture ain't enough
I can't wait to touch you in the flesh
Darlin' darlin' darlin'
I can't wait to hear you
Remembering your love
Is nothing without you in the flesh
Went walking one day on the lower East side
Met you with a girlfriend, you were so divine
She said, "Hands off this one sweetie, this boy is mine."
I couldn't resist you - I'm not deaf, dumb, and blind
Darlin' darlin' darlin'
Now you're out of town
Those girls that you run with
They bring my head down
Ooh Darlin' darlin'
Watch out if I see you
'Cause if you say hello
It'll mean you wanna see me in the flesh
Ooh warm and soft, in the flesh
Ooh close and hot, in the flesh
Ooh
@Debbie Harry My pleasure! Please check my Playlists and Videos.
@Debbie Harry I hope you'll like some of them.
Get the feeling blondie is singing to "Denise".
Perhaps one of the most heavenly tracks
Rock n roll died with the Eagles and then came Blondie with pure American Pop. They did Reggae, Disco, rock, punk, rap and even French Ballads. It didn't matter. It was all superficial, all fake - and all perfectly beautiful like her face. Everyone else followed Debby and Chris. Love Blondie.
What a gift to this world.
God this is one of my childhood favorites and I hadn't listened to this in years, suddenly today I had a flashback of this song and the memories it brought me, I decided to play it now, like 11 years later, never gets old
Couldn't agree more! The appeal is still there, after all these years...
Thank god for Australia & Ian "Molly" Meldrum! This was Blondie's 1st "hit" even if it was only in Australia! :- D
@Sharon Jensen so true, we helped ABBA too. Love our music. đŠđș
I still remember Molly playing that song on Countdown and thinking "Wow!
Molly is the BEST
They should never had stopped count down
I was 12 when this heavenly creature came into my heart.
In The Flesh was one of Blondies earlier hits in 1976 Written by Deborah Harry and Chris Stein and is one of my all time favorite Blondie songs.
One of their best early songs, imho.
Such an underated song from an underated band.
Saw her in Salford England , think 1977, right in front of the stage, I have to agree with you, no doubt about it
Blondie's first ever No #1 Single
It only made it to #2. I think it was Andy Gibbs "I Just Want To Be Your Everything" that stopped it from reaching #1
Boy, could Deborah sing ! What a voice. And she really looks hot here. I remember growing up listening and dancing to her big hits of 1979 - such as Heart of Glass and others. But, I don't remember this one. Thanks to Utube, I'm able to enjoy this. It has a 1960's sound to it.
She was so beautiful and such a smooth voice.Loved all her songs and still listening in 2021.Go Girl..đđđđđđđđ
One of my favorite Blondie tunes, Deborah Harry has such a Great voice!!!
I was 14 when i heard this. Loved it
Easily the sexiest woman EVER in the history of music
+Robert Gowans I'm a straight woman and I so agree with you.
+Robert Gowans I totally agree!!
+Robert Gowans I agree too!
+stu wilks not if you look at her now but in her day she was fantastic
she was born in 45 wot the fuk do you expect??
blondie is such a heart throb ...one glance at her and my heart melts . ive watched this video only 6 times in a row lol !!!!
Blondie is the greatest of all time!!
Interesting to watch talent develop their talents.
Deb rocking ombre hair 40 years b4!
Oh to be as cool as Blondie!
She can't make a mistake every thing she does is gorgeous.
Pure natural beauty and talent. No crap
gorgeous !
The stacked harmonies of Debbie, Ellie Greenwich, and Donna Destri are like a narcotic breeze that comes from the south to caress the frontal lobe of my skull where the brain dwells.
Wow ! ! - Kurt Vonnigut [ Slacthaus F UN. F. Channeling]. ââ
(Movie is called Slaughter Five in English.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
thank you oldies but goodies
Blondie will still sound good a century from now.
Alongside "Rapture" and "Call Me", in my top 3 for Blondie. A gorgeous composition and arrangement, too.
Best Blondie video
Start of a magical time
What a Beautiful Song, Sang by a Beautiful Woman,
She still rocks it in concert.
Had this album as a kid and this was one of my favorites that I played over and over!!
Her attraction, imo, apart from her obvious good looks & talent, was that she came across as effortless. â€
As an Aussie I've always been a little proud that we " discovered" Blondie and the gorgeous Debbie Harry when this song reached #2 on the Aussie Singles charts back in 1976. In The Flesh is a brilliant song from an under appreciated album and Debbie looks a little nervous in this video, but it adds to her appeal in my opinion, she is one of the most beautiful women in history.
my favourite band since i was little....love u blondie .....gorgeous
+loveangell7 I AGREE, SHE IZ OSUM, BEZD NEW WAVE BAND NEXT TO SPLIT ENZ AND BOYTRONIC
đâ€đâ€đ
Nightmare on Elm Street 4 Soundtrack . I still remember this song on Freddy Krueger movie .
I'm literally living for this
god.... the intro makes me so nostalgic "you may remember this.... in the flesh" and it makes me realize how lucky people were to experience blondie at their peak
She was high as fuck and I completely love her. She is a timeless beauty.
They are SO.. SO... SO.. COOL.
Ahhh . One of the best. Timeless.Learn from the best, people.Deb Harry is one of the true greats
This band lived in another dimension, this can not be released in 1976, no way.
Debbie immortal ever.
How appealing is Deborah Harry here? She's got lips and eyes to die for lol and she sings like a sixties Goddess x
Couldn't agree more! The appeal is still there, after all these years...
she actually was a sixties singer in a band
I love her "little girl" voice in this
She adores the girl groups of the sixties ..as do I ..check out Blondie's version of out on the street .so good
@@nickmorrell3559 I know she does, 60's Girl Groups are my favourite genre. Yes, I know their version, it's great, thanks.
This was their first big hit, it wasn't that popular in most of the world, but it got to number 2 in Australia, that's how they started, Australia. This was also a B side song, I find it so interesting when that happens! Anyway, such a beautiful song!
just saw them recently in nyc, shes 77 and still sounds great, so does the band.
Raging Angel wit dis 1 đ
This song is very special to me because it reminds me a very special person
Great song & clip. I really like the B&W TV intro; etc.
Why is Valentine HOPPING at 2:15? IT'S A BALLAD!!
words cant describe she is a vision of true beauty
