- Head Coach Jon Bohrer of CORE Athletic Training teaches kids the importance of developing proper running form with good technique. Dribbling in soccer, exploding for a fast break in basketball, stealing a base in baseball, outrunning the defense in football all require solid running skills. Use these 4 drills to develop footwork, form and explosiveness. Try to practice and train these drills 3xs a week now so you can see improvement in your game performance. Drills are applicable to all sports.

As a track runner I'd say the skips performed in the video is demonstrated with poor form. Your head should not look down but rather be lifted. Your feet should land below the center of mass to allow more force to be exerted into the ground. The arms should also be more active during the movement.
