I had accepted that surgery was not for me....until my urology rotation. Honestly it's got the best lifestyle of all the surgery specialities, straight forward pathologies, great patient outcomes and most diverse range of procedures. I also love the mix of clinic and surgery.

I thought about being a pediatrician, however, after I spent nearly 6 hours in a waiting room hearing a child cry over and over again, and the parent play wheels on the bus back and forth to calm the kid down, made me change my mind immediately.

Our surgery professor is a urologist and he keep trying to convince us to go into urology.
he says that urology patients are always very thankful since you relive severe pain like kidney stones, help with clearing a full bladder and treat some erectile dysfunction cases which is extremely important for males. your patients will be very thankful and constantly sending you letters and gifts
The only problem is the process in becoming a urologist, Its Very hard and strong dedication is need, even if ur dedicated its not guaranteed ur gonna make it

I have been urologist for 11 year, and I am sure I won't be as happy as I am doing something different, I really love my job, and it's full of opportunities, I have been traveling around the world thanks to all the offers, and the best part is the humor as the video said, and all the female urologist I know are such great strong women, a pediatrician wouldn't take the jokes as we do it.
Now iam student but for the future I want to be urologist its my biggest dream🥰

I'm a nurse in a urology clinic, most urologists I meet are very much happy-go-lucky and laid back, usually have excellent productivity numbers, too. Its definitely a subject I am interested in for residency, but I'm also looking forward to SYWB Nephrologist

As a patient, no doctors terrify me more. The pain and humiliation given by urologists are truly unrivaled by any other doctor.

He already did plastic surgery. That’s just a subspecialty of plastic surgery, he doesn’t go over sub-specialties just the specialitie as a whole.
My urologist absolutely has a great sense of humor. He’s so nice and laid back and he laughed when I put my foot in my mouth. Having an awesome urologist really helped when I needed my kidney stones removed.
Also when I asked him his patient ratio and he said about 3/4 of his patients are men.
Doh.well they would be.most men would perfer a male urologist.🙄
