  • Here's my fastest lap (1:54.7) of the day at Sonoma Raceway on 11-21-21 with CFRA. Ignore the blinky steering wheel lights, I forgot to reprogram them appropriately after resetting the wheel, oops.
    Car's still on the stock springs/dampers, and fresh Hankook RS4s (265/35r18, 285/35r18) on Bimmerworld TA5-R (18x9.5, 18x10.5).
    Other mods of note:
    -Vorshlag camber plates
-M2 CS Racing front sway bar
    -SPL LCA
    -SPL caster monoballs
Alignment Specs (#'s for each side):
    Front Caster: 8deg
    Front Camber: -2.9deg
    Front Toe: -0.03deg
    Rear Camber: -1.8deg
    Rear Toe: 0.12deg

Cool track. Looks like there are a few dicey off camber turns.

Do you plan to upgrade the shock and use Fatcat set up again. Curious to see what it feel like in a real M car

Yes, the plan is eventually to go FCM, but the testing with other setups to get there is going slowly... haha

Hi. Enjoy watching your videos. Sonoma is a bucket list track for me. Good job on the track
Hearing brakes squeal. Wonder how much improvement your finding as compared with the original stock f87 brakes when you do run a few sessions at the track.
Are that finding that much difference after replacing the brakes and changing them.

All track pads squeal in my experience. I never ran the stock brakes on my M2C, but I'd imagine they hold up pretty well. AP's let me fit 18" wheels though and are much easier to swap pads with. You're not going to gain any more "stopping power" with them though.
