    What I dont understand is how "experts" think they know what planets billions of light years away are made of and what not. How do we know our rules and laws apply in another galaxy?

    24:55 I'm shocked about this one.. How could a planet survive two dying stars if they went supernovas?

      After a star goes Supernova, the remnant still weighs the same as the star once did but its all been compacted down and is highly dense. Any surviving planets will still orbit it like normal, but the red giant phase will have destroyed the inner ones and explosion will have killed off any potential life or atmospheres they may have once had.

      Not now this is like Jupiter, but it’s not Jupiter. It might be so small. It might be a door planet and that thing that was half light and half dark that could be a star orbiting a star, a smaller star or a big star.

    Awesome video with great graphical content 😊 at 0:40 when you say "HD 189773 b" instead of "HD 198733 b", my curiosity made me google "HD 189773" turns out it's a giant star in the constellation of pavo and has no known exoplanets :p

    Here’s a question. At 8:15, with the assumption there is methane and crude oil on the surface coming from geysers, doesn’t that mean there was some kind of organic material at some point? I was under the impression that those things came from organic material.

      Methane can be formed by geologic processes on Earth. Crude oil just means petroleum, and can be made of essentially any hydrocarbon.

      Thing is they can't, they just make up stuff. They barely know what's going on in this solar system. Then they say they find other planets when they see a dot pass star in another galaxy. If that's how they find them, then it's no way to tell if it's really a planet or what it's made of or looks like.

      Venus' gravitational pull is almost equal to Earth's. It's Venus' atmosperic pressure that's 92% greater than that of Earth's.

    It’s so strange how you come to this information but whenever an astronaut looks out a window of the space station it’s ALWAYS pitch black. Then you say it’s too close to the sun to see anything. So then how can you see these planets next to their respective suns when you can’t even see anything in orbit because of being to close to your own sun?

    Since Venus and Earth are almost the same size and have about the same mass, the surface gravity on Venus is almost the same as the surface gravity on Earth. The surface gravity on Venus is about 91% of the surface gravity on Earth, so if you weigh 100 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 91 pounds on Venus.

    Never mind, he misspoke. I had to Google it, because I understand Venus to be slightly smaller... and it is, with slightly lower gravity than Earth's. But the *air-pressure* is 75-100 times that of Earth.
