You have the patience of a saint. Never swore or moaned about it on camera. If I got stuck down there and I had to ask someone if they could move their car. I would of said "excuse me, but I just had to make a delivery just up the road and I have turned around and I am trying to get back to the main road. Would it be possible for you to move your car so I can get past safely please" Better saying the "safely" word coz they don't want a mangled car. Great video sir. Drive safe

I'll start by saying your a good man with a sense of patience. When i saw the red car, 49% of me wanted it pushed into the old crones living room. I remember i once delivered 33 tonnes of bird seed to a farm in Shrewsbury. That day put about ten good hard nails into the coffin of general haulage. Rather than send two rigids, the company saved money and did it with one journey. A stressful journey. I must admit, the locals that had to back their cars up were beautiful. They helped me. I think they could see i was right on the edge. One corner i went around was so tight two thirds of the trailer disappeared in the nearside mirror. I half expected the mudguards to disappear too. The council wouldn't have had to cut any tree branches under 15 '10" for the rest of the year either.I stopped looking in the mirrors in the end. My heart was already in the red. Farms, i learnt to hate that word.

It's exactly the same in supermarket home delivery. Give the driver 4-6 minutes to complete a delivery, no matter where it is, no matter how wide the road is and no matter how many stairs there may be. As soon as the van leaves the yard they simply do not care.

1000 litres of kerosene weighs 820 kgs at 15 degrees centigrade.
4500 litres therefore weighs approximately 3.7 ton.
An unladen 7.5 ton mini tanker weighs around 3.5 - 4 ton depending on the tank being aluminium or mild steel allowing for a payload of up to 4500 litres of kerosene.
I know. I drove them for years.
I currently have a 21 ton tanker with a 16000 litre capacity tank.

Fully laden with kerosene it weighs 20.8 ton.

The only "problem" I see is driver stupidity. The " sign "road closed" was posted as you went in. You had no choice but to go in, anyway - this much is taken into consideration.
But once delivered, there were a few other chances to turn around, but the driver thought he'd look for another way out (so much for heeding the "road closed" sign).
Squeezing by the car was the most stupid - he would have had to squeeze by it again on the way out (oh, yeah - he couldn't comprehend the words "road closed").

Of course, I'm not entirely sure why you continued down that road after your delivery, either.

Nice driving. It must have been hard to turn and squeeze through places reversing. Am I allowed to ask what was being delivered?

Obviously I wasn't there but turning at 7:09 looked to be easiest (or least difficult)?

Well, the sign DID say "Unsuitable for HGVs". You can't say you weren't warned. :-D
I drove wagons for a while back myself. It IS a nightmare when people send you places that your vehicle just isn't supposed to go - but what are you going to do once you have the load on board and it's scheduled to be there with people relying on you?
