Considering how slow blue was, I think you could have remained loyal until the end, and still win.
you can legit see Pete didnt like stabbing/ratting blue after black was defeated.
One time it happened to me also, i was feeling guilty but winning is a rule soo.
With the rank question at the end - it doesn't actually matter who you lose to, it only matters your finishing position and the rank points of the other plays.
For example the following will result in the same rank point change for you:
1: GM
2: you
3-6: Novice
VS
1: Novice
2: you
3-5: Novice
6: GM
Imagine how bad luck the GM must have in the second one, like getting them all to attack him with like 4v4 or so, dont ever want to be in that position
OK, real talk:
- Already became a huge fan of not ONLY just the show, but of you
- So many things I have learned from this channel in my own games of risk, to the point I dived in to ranked play for the first time ever despite owning and playing the game for many, many, MANY seasons in just bot-matches, and I have attained rank of Expert, and clocked up 11,285pts this season
BUT THEN YOU TIP IT OVER THE EDGE AND KNOCK THE BALL OUT THE PARK ON ANOTHER LEVEL WHEN YOU BETRAY YOUR ALLY: WHY?
- Was genuinely awesome to see that you felt a pang of regret for having to betray the blue player when it became a 2 player game, your not just ruthless Pete, but your a nice ruthless Pete!!!
- AND THEN...You casually throw out one of the best Star Wars Quotes with such style and with an epic delivery!

Just had a fantastic game on USA 48. I had a VERY marginal kill. I had 5 cards. 2 times in a row with no set on 4! It was a 3 player game with me the smallest. I had been able to stay out of trouble and just collect cards. Finally, Red smacked a 57 stack of Green leaving him with a 57 stack and a few 1's. I had a hundred+ stack but I had to hit a red 60 to get to it. I hit it got poor dice for the kill I was making. (Suffered a few less than Red). Then all I had was the Green stack. 23% chance. I manueled it up to a 36ish%. Then with time short, I smacked it. I had 3 troops left! That felt good! And with that, I am a master again.
Love the content Pete! I enjoy the Meta settings with fixed, true random and alliances on. I think it makes alliances a bit more attractive to remove the fog. Blizzards give it the randomness. Diplomacy still matters when the god spawn dude gets rolling. Had so many fun games, winning when I had no chance because a homie let me live to toss my troops at their enemy. Then realizing the one v one was kinda even. Such a fun game. Love watching you play.

hello pete! can u plz elaborate what AI difficulty actually means ? Is it the difficulty the bot will play at or is it the probability of losing troops while attacking an opponent ? btw I appreciate your sense game play 💙
Each level of bot plays significantly different. Expert isn't all that good overall
As much as any blue needs to turn animations off to improve their speed

Been trying FOR EVER to get games on these settings. I try for hours with little to no interest. Had two games on these settings overall with 6 people and both times, I've had noobs just go ham into me for no reason, forcing attrition while two other players get big around us and we both lose because of it.
Love watching your games as they seem to go a lot better for everyone, but I can't get a good game. XD
You were probably fighting one or two players with multiple accounts.

The players at number one on the leaderboard tend to play the same settings over and over again with the minimum possible risk. Assuming they are very good isn't necessarily true. The number one player in the world is Arco. And he does upload his games. @arcorisk on YT

So why didn’t you take France turn 1, it seems pretty inoffensive to me, no caps(bot or human) and there were only one stacks so with your 6 starting troops you should’ve been able to take it?
Blue broke black 90% of the time. All Pete did was take his stuff back and called blue a noob. Without the heavy lifting of blue Pete was dead
Why Pete gets the win. Pete could care less about blues chances of winning. All he cares about is his position.

@@aranahjohnson9640 With neutral bot you place current lowest when you hit surrender.
With automated bot you place where your bot places in the game.
Could these early botters just be fake SMG accounts to prop up their user count and to fill up lobbies faster?
