For reference as to why theres 3 major stadiums in Glasgow. Glasgow is one of, if not, thee most important city in the early stages of football. The english will come for me but Scotland dominated england and football in general for the first 40 years and sucçessful English teams were made up of Scots and a lot came from Glasgow. One of the most important early football clubs Queens Park (an amatuer team with like 1k attendance average) owned the ground and shared it with Scottish national team. It wasnt until recently the Scottish football authority bought the full rights off them. Very interesting because if Queens Park didnt remain amateur there would be 3 major clubs in Glasgow not just Rangers and Celtic. Lots of peoples grandparents and great grandparent's wouldve been Queens Park fans but they never went fully professional so people turned to Ranger's/Celtic.
That's extremely interesting! I know that Scottish football has fallen on hard times compared to where it used to be, but I've never had it laid out like that before. I really hope they're able to get out of the group stage of the Euros, I've been pulling for them.
