My friend was married to a guy who was also not romantic, he grew up in the rural areas. The only thing he did very well was giving her wife allowance. My friend decided to write a list of gastures that she would love her husband to do for her but she told him not to tell her when he does the stuff, he must still try to keep them as a "surprise" and that honestly worked. Sometimes men need to be taught these things
I get you Nozi. I'm the least romantic wife, however being married to a guy who enjoys what Skhu calls 'ego boosters' I do them once in a while and there's always a reward for my efforts.
Most Relationships lack consistency. We get so comfortable and forget to nurture the relationship, we stop putting in the effort. Particularly nurturing ones love languages. We need to consistently work on these lil things that make the big thing. There’s a saying ke ethi how you love your woman translates into how much respect/ego stroking you will get. And honestly I think it goes both ways but for a woman that likes to be led I generally feed off that love.
Nozi wants Skhu to be inspired by the romantic gestures but I feel like Skhu also wants Nozi to be inspired by the ego boosters. So you both basically want the same thing but in different form of gestures
@Wendy I am glad someone saw that too, he wants to have his ego boosted. He wants to feel he is a leader and I won't lie sometimes when she repeatedly speaks above her husband and interrupts I kind of shy away 🙈
Wow! What I took from this is that the same way we ladies would like our men to sweep us off our feet once in a while, is the same way they would appreciate their egos being boosted once in a while. It's a two-way street. Love it. Thank you
I love listening to Bhuti Skhumbuzo speak. Ndithanda indlela ocinga ngayo mkhuluwa. ubulumko bakho nendlela o tacklisha ngayo izinto ndiyayithanda. I am inspired your wisdom Grootman.
I agree with you Skhu about how posts on social media are curated. What is portrayed mostly, is not the daily reality for most. Yes he loved his wife, however the assumption of perfection that was taken on about him after he had passed was uncomfortable to see.
Not my husband saying yeah vhele I chased you, why should I keep chasing mus you’ll eventually run away with all this chasing🤣🤣🤣🤣 uncle Skhu please come get your nephew😅...
"Jealousy" aside, but Buti Skhu's command of the Queen's language is superb. You are such and inspiration guys, may God's light always shine upon your precious lives...🙏🙏🙏
USkhu is making a very important point that we sometimes overlook as ladies. In the same way that we enjoy being appreciated nge-love languages zethu, we need to consider the same for our male partners. As uSkhu says, uke umsurpriser nje umntu wakho nge-gesture that he’ll appreciate, once in a while 👌🏾
I love you guys! Thank you so much for these videos. I hope you both can do these little things that the other loves, even if it's once in a while. Please keep bringing us content like this.
I wish I could kneel when I give my husband food and welcome him at the door take off his jacket. But jho AKUUVUUMIII. Make me numb Lord so I can do such practices.
Wow i must say i enjoyed this video and listening to both parties speak about relationships as a whole. My boyfriend isnt the romantic type but he's learnt to recognize what i like and he tries to make up for his shortcomings, as i do same. It's about knowing your person and that is what makes each relationship unique. Sometimes we're caught up what is being done in the movies our focus on fantasy rather than reality.
I enjoyed this video, we as partners need to constantly give and in turn our partner will give back. She wants romance he wants ego boosters, if she starts inspiring him by giving him the ego boosters here and there he will in turn love her the way she is craving. 🙏🏽
Sis Nozi you are glowing. You look so beautiful & happy. What a beautiful, informative topic. Thank you for the upload ❤️ there are so many lessons to ponder on!
Praise the LORD!!!! The Lord Jesus has made available all things that pertain unto life and godliness to you!!! He has given you the opportunity to be reconciled unto God forever through His unselfish sacrifice of love, dying on a wooden cross for your sins and being raised from the dead...and through belief in this truth today and confession of His lordship over your life, you can be saved and awakened to the fatherhood of God. Don't wait any longer, please!!! God bless you and good day.
Hi Nozi I love trying new things esp the ones my spouse loves...... Sometimes we do things we don't love and end up loving BcZ they make our partners feel loved..... De very same way we wish to have amarose pedals surprise.... Our men might not love doing that but realizing that, that makes us happy they will do...
OMG, thank you for bringing up the Shona situation. My man got really jealous that I spoke fondly of how he treated his wife and loved her. We even fought about and I later found out he had an issue with that. We not even south Africans🙈
I thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to you two. God bless you for sharing your love with us. Definitely sparked a lot of introspection into how I am as a partner and how I can better create that environment to help my partner stay consistent and to also appreciate the little things above all else. ♥️♥️
Yhu andihlekanga maarn ndiyibukelise noMkam le video. I really Love how real you guys are. I love how you guys are not tryna make things look prim proper and perfect like most couples on CZcams.
Such an insightful topic. I'm also glad you touched on the significance of love languages. And I think it's important for us to also take into consideration that people evolve and their love languages are also bound to change, so that constant communication/check up with your partner is also imperative. Love the 7 day challenge idea, it all starts with instilling a gratitude mindset. Thank you for this amazing content bethuna, we are learning and unlearning ❤️
I definitely understand where Skhu comes from🙌🙌👏i think sometimes its important to do what makes your partner happy even if its not necessarily something that comes naturally
Good day beautiful couple . Your story is one of faith. I can see god blessing on you both you are a beacon of light to many. It takes faith and courage to come out and tell your story. Continue to be a spontaneous couple your are a blessing.
These are important conversations to have as couples but unfortunately it's very hard to convince our African brothers to can even take 15 mins to watch such videos and learn. Even if they would do it privately, so here we are as women watching what we hope for and our men telling us we like things from TV 🤣🤣🤣
Joo i tried several times to show my husband inspiring video with no success. He would just said "I'm not gonna do that, and brush it off.tellling me he was once a soldier bla bla bla
Skhu, you are mentioning a very beautiful and solid point here. I once said such eg the plate and kneeling part just once in a while😂😂 and the responce was "You are a rural man wena"
You should start a relationship podcast Skhu and Nozi, it would definitely blow up !

I agree with you.
I honestly aspire to learn to one day communicate like Skhu. Skhu listens, attentively. And responds sooo appropriately and honestly.
I have also observed this!! “Any effect conversation starts with listening”
He truly does, he listens and waits to respond
Thank you for speaking English guys! Really enjoyed this one 🤗

Communicating each other’s love languages and creating an environment that enables both parties to succeed ‼️
When he said people are selective about what they post 🙌🏾

It's all about learning each other's love languages which are often different with most couples.
Soo true, and also these languages change over time. We also need to keep up with where our partner is at that time in terms of that language.
I agree, love isn't complicated you just need to know your partners love language.
