I have those same sized tires (26"x3" Chaoyang) on another ebike. I like them a lot better than the 4" fat tires that a lot of ebikes have.
They feel like a nice balance between Giant fat tires and traditional slim bicycle tires.

Nice looking bike, it's like a gentleman's retro bike but for it that controller is a deal breaker, it just doesn't have enough torque ( cough, shunt mod cough cough )
Yeah its not the highest power bike overall but it for a "city commuter" style category bike it's higher than most. I hear what you're saying. The controller will remain unmolested haha.

Too bad about the undersized battery. Maybe they'll change up the frame in future for a larger battery (52v 25ah)?
Not sure about that, I think this bike was made to be used along side leg power and not throttle, as well as to keep it lighter so that's why the battery is on the more small-medium size.
@@maximumchargeEV Yeah but my leg power usually lasts for between 5 and 7 hours. Long range 26" fat tire is what I'm after. Something I can travel for 2 or 3 hours with and then ride on the trails for an hour or two and then ride back home.
It is a very pretty bike.
how can you draw 18 amps from a 15 amp battery?
Amp hours is different than amp draw.
