Ronald Ssenkumba, a loaded coffee farmer from Masaka City, who is also the owner of Golden Hotel, is being accused of getting his own wife, Winnie Namulunga, arrested.
Winnie's family says she is in jail for allegedly stealing a car that Ronald had given her as a gift. Ronald and Winnie were married, but their relationship ended badly because of domestic violence.
Winnie went back to her father's home after she was allegedly beaten by Ronald, but later he apologized and gave her a car as a gift to make up. He even signed a paper in the presence of Winnie's parents saying the car belonged to her.
Days later, Ronald, with the police, took the car from Winnie's shop in Masaka claiming she had stolen it.
