I discovered you nearly two years ago and im struggling to remember by whom. when I first started listening to you I was heavy into meth. since thin I have been clean with exception of 3 slips in a whole year. you, your lectures and the bible have helped me through the demons and the drugs. I have had only slips were 3 or 4 hits off the pipe opposed to 3 or 4 day smoking. now for a non user this might seem like a train wreck but for someone who has used on a regular basis for 15 years... it is a miracle. I sit here now after some friends just left and I don't feel like they were friends and we drink and drink and drink. I really wanted to say thank for bringing the lord into my life and now I will pray that I cut out the alcohol, or at least don't use it as a crush. thank you Jefferson for helping me help myself via the word of god. sincerely, rich long.
Perfect love casts out fear
You just spoke about my life. Fear ruled me. No joke. But gradually God is bring me out of this fear zone into grace. Your message really boosted my spirit. Thank you Lord for this message through Mr Bethke.
I'm not a Christian, yet this is great teaching with clear analogies to back it up. You're right. Fear is almost universal. And fear manifests in a lot of different ways. Once a person recognises this then they can take the next step. Love is the answer. This love based mindset takes a while to develop. You certainly seem to have "got it". Very inspiring and thought provoking.
God is well aware of our struggles and knows the fight even before we endure it. He knows what we need to hear and when we need to hear it, when we need guidance! And I needed to hear this!!!!!! God is good.
I was at IMPACT 2014, and it was just so amazing. It was a huge surprise last Friday cause Jerry, my team manager for Project Serve Ghana 14', made this trip mandatory for me. Now, why it was a huge surprise, was that I didn't even know that until they left for Ocean City! This is beautiful. Its my birthday today, I prayed and told God all I wanted from him was to know that I am loved - truly know it- in a real manner. This video has helped me realise that... :D

Yes and Amen! I am frequently being tied to the ship when sin comes along but definitely moving towards having the music of God drown out the temptations.
Hey I just wanted to say your videos, mostly the original ones where it was kind of a rap, helped me see God and Jesus in my life. They helped me with my constant struggle with addiction and I just wanted to say thank you for helping me to accept Jesus into my life. I can't explain how much you truly helped me. I never thought I could be helped so much by someone I've never met. Again thank you for all you've done!

Thanks for this video. I don't have much interest in mythology, but I do get your point about listening more to grace than fear. Having said that, the fear often feels so much louder and real to me. I pray and quote Scripture to myself, often begging God to give me peace. It usually happens, but sometimes not until I'm ready for bed at night. I really have a lot of trouble receiving grace, because I don't know how to let go of the fear and anger very well. Please pray for me; thanks.
Profound. Focus on what is good, and let actual goodness entice you away from sin, rather than cowering in fear of your need to make decisions. Granted, a degree of fear of the effect of sin would naturally be healthy, but to let that fear run your life... what a sad life that is. Have yet to get to that chapter, but loving your work, bro!
