- This is my first time ever, installing an Android Radio or upgrading any car stereo ever.. This is an Android Radio I purchased on ebay.. (Dasaita V600) to install in my 2012 Toyota Camry SE.
I am a newbie and I have never tried to upgrade anything car - related on my own.
The V600 has a 10.2" 2+16G Android 7.1 Radio for Toyota Camry Stereo Car GPS Navigation

Update: As mentioned, this is my first time ever installing an Android Radio or upgrading any car stereo ever. You may know how to install it better than I can. I recorded it to document what I did. I may have made mistakes, just learn from them. What I did worked for me, if you think there's a different or better way, I'm sure there is.

Great job. Pls remember to disconnect the battery before doing any electrical/electronic work on the vehicle. Tape the head of the shift knob to prevent potential scratches on the equipment being installed.

Which brand did you end up getting ? Also how’s it holding up in quality? I’m conflicted between the $530 Amazon Viabecs brand vs the $249 xStream audio brand from eBay
Why did you remove the centre console when there was no need to ????
Next time unplug the center console with a gear shift is that and move it out the way unplugged everything that just need to be there and move it out of the way completely

Hi I got the same radio. I can't change the launcher though. I keep getting "Abnormal internet connection" when I try to Update. Can't figure it out. The seller can't either. My wifi is good! Any thoughts? Updating firmware is the same.
Also where did you connect the usb that has a grey square connector to. Comes form your car to the usb that goes into your radio I got so confused I didn't connect anything to it.
The connector is about a foot long grey square on one end and usb on the other end. THANKS!
Great video. What functionality do we lose with aftermarket units? How do you change ehicle customization setting like Turn Eco mode off, lock the doors when you put the car in D?
The settings are still there.. u can customizd them

You literally pulled the old head unit while it was still on. Disconnect the battery next time.

Do the tire pressure sensors still work with this mod?
they should, i own a 2016 personally but the tpms should show seperatly in the screen where it shows your speed and all

What prompted your upgrade? Were you experiencing any electrical, technical or mechanical problems??
Personally, I believe they'd done so because the screen looked outdated. I find that to be the case for many people as well.
Does this support plug in Android Auto? Or bluetooth Android Auto only?
It supports plug in android. Also screen mirrorring as far as i know
I see your like my 2012 Toy the emergency flasher button is partially obstructed. Strange why the company could not make it so the flasher button was fully seen?
Thanka for your comment. I thought about that too at first.. but I guess they wanted the screen as big as they can manufacture it to be.
Will the button for emergency lights still work fine? Will it not accidentally get pushed on with the new screen?

So far it's still the same as when I first installed it.. 😊 i didnt really install much apps other than waze and spotify.. so it remained the same
How is the glare from sunlight with this screen? Have you had any issues with this stereo? Are you still happy with it?
I think you can get anti sun glare filaments for the screen, don't quote me on it though. lol.
Did you have a pre installed microphone??
This unit comes built in with a microphone

@@yousefamara you can install the mic that came with it. It's all in the box
Toyota had refused to support Android Auto until 2019 and they are not offering an upgrade to those who have older model Toyota's with the outdated Entunes 2.0. Only newly redesigned models get Entunes 3.0 which can support Android Auto.
This is not a toyota radio. This is not entunes.
Curious about the 'memory' & 'storage' referred to as RAM & the Hard drive. How much did you get?
Honestly 2gb ram and 16gb to 32gb would be fine don’t expect this to be a full fledged tablet and be ultra fast they have their limits but will be 100% better than your standard radio. Just be sure to get it with android 9 and up
