I've never heard of her before, so I almost skipped this, but I'm surprised to find I like it. Very 1980's and great synth sounds. Reminds me a bit of Lene Lovich.
My second listen of this song. I literally gave it a first listen 2 days ago. I periodically go through club listings to check out who’s coming to town, Boston , and listen to some new artists.
I like it better the second time around. I do enjoy the retro 80s sound , but it comes close to being too retro.

Allie X is one of the most intelligent writers in the music business. This whole album was written and produced by her.
This has an early '80s type of sound, and quite European too, I really like this so, two for two by this artist.

A ton of people can see the art and hype around this project...its not for you. But objectively you still gotta at least attempt to understand why others would appreciate it

It's going to be a pass for me as well. Early 80's trying to be something and today's music just to get something out. How about some more Blancmange and Pseudo Echoe.
