The best tactic Ukraine has so far is ambushing Russian equipment when it is traveling. The goal is to disable or capture more weapons than Russia can build or buy. This also makes it easier to capture soldiers with the least amount of harm. Remember; Russian soldiers are victims of Putin's madness too.
Trying to break through fortified positions is costly to both opponents. When on the road, smaller drones can be used to damage vehicles just enough to disable them, with less chance of harming operators.

Russia's failure to adapt to modern warfare finds it's roots in their strategic belief that quantity outweighs quality and that does not just pertain to hardware but also command and right down to the soldier on the field. They embraced (and still do) the ONLY tactic that has EVER worked for them since re-taking Stalingrad and chasing the Germans back to Berlin and that is simply overwhelming an opponent by sheer mass. What they fail to recognize even to this day is the evolution of battlefield tactics and that what held water in 1942 is no longer applicable today. Combine that with a commonly held world opinion that they have come to believe themselves is that they are truly of "super-power" status but that...that is based upon their nuclear capabilities...the last REAL war they fought even if cold, it is not however based on battlefield strategy and for that...the chickens have come home to roost.

    Russia against the Nato.
To anyone confused on why Russia started the invasion of ukraine, its because ukraine was trying to get into NATO and NATO at the door step would mean 1000 times more risk of such incursions anytime from russian's west.
Historically, russia has been invaded from the same path multiple times.
Napoleon to hitler, that paranoia is real.
Because, there is no natural barriers like mountains or any such terrain, if ukraine would have joined Nato, russia would have to spend tremendously on their border defense against NATO.
And considering Nato was created to counter ussr/ now russia. And sèes them as enemies.
Russia had to choose. They chose to invade ukraine pre-emptively.
The people from west are majorly good people, but their politicians have been nasty on the whole world.
    Always destabilizing effect.
Be it syria, iraq, vietnam, korea, Afghanistan.
Whole middle was so damn rich and developed, now allnin rubble.
Dont see this war in black and white.
I too support Ukraine, however understanding the reason for this war is vwry important....
Russia had to... or Russia was pished into the corner to get into this war with ukraine.
Remember this: Russia would choose a world with nuclear winter over a world where Nato is at its doorstep.

Providing support to Ukraine in its fight against Russia is crucial not just for Ukraine, but for global stability. The assistance we’re offering is a small fraction of our military budget, but it plays a significant role in preventing a larger conflict. If Russia is allowed to succeed, it could embolden further aggression, potentially drawing the U.S. and its allies into a much larger war. In that scenario, we wouldn’t just be spending resources-we’d be risking American lives. By helping Ukraine now, we’re making a strategic investment in peace and security
