The most underrated show of all time. For me this is the best show I've ever seen outside of Breaking Bad and The Wire.
Try Homicide: life on the streets, David Simon produced this and The Wire, a lot of the same actors are in Homicide as well.

When Shane kills you know who. Still one of the most intense and shocking scenes in TV history.

GREATEST SHOW EVER. GREATEST SERIES FINALE EVER. The pilot episode came back to matter in the finale. What AMAZING longterm storytelling and writing.

The most overlooked show of all time . I love the sopranos but THIS is the only show that tops it . From beginning to end it never drops off .
The first ever FX original, and the one that shaped the network into what it is today. Without this, we would be stuck in an apartment watching shows that rely on interactivity.
My all-time favourite absolute masterpiece. I rewatch it every single year this is how good it is. How the phase and the tension build up from 1-7 sessions and all the characters and the list can go on and on.

I couldn't sleep one night, I stumble downstairs and switch on CNX (short lived, but awesome satellite channel in the UK) and there's a cop show on. Some tough bald dude shoots a guy in the face! I'm hooked.

This is the best TV show of all time. I watched many others, including such like Breaking Bad, The wire, but the shield is on another level. Can't even imagine how this piece of art was created in 2002. Story and script much better than modern tv shows. I want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in creating "The Shield". Masterpiece. I never forget it!
