I used to collect shitty vacuums and found the best bet to keep them clean is to wipe them after use, best bet buy a sealed system like a shark or a dyson so you dont have to worry about the dust blowing back in the air and dirtying the outside, with those I just tap the filters out, rinse if washable kind and let dry, also with a damp or dry washable rag after each use you can wipe the inside of the dust bin, some newer style vacuums also use a water filtration system where you add water to the chamber before each use and the water will trap all the dirt, when you pour the water outside you can rinse those clean and let them dry in the garage or something, seems much better than all these filters and cheap pos vacuums
