Agree this season had everything. Massive variety, drama and was very unpredictable and loads of manufactures sometimes with 4 cars in a rally. Was a shame I didn't watch the season live in person as was too young to see it but what a season, it just seemed that no one wanted to win it as Burns scored only 44 points to win it and even in the old points format that is very low score but that shows how close and unpredictable the season was. After 2008 I didn't watch the WRC at all really until the new cars in 2017 and am starting to love it again.

I love the emotions, the personality of the drivers, the drama from mistakes to mechanical issues , the brands present, etc. I remember watching this and thinking how could you not love WRC? He probably would have won had not been for his medical problems. His performance at the end of the season deteriorated because of it and was forced to miss out the last 2 events.
