I think the new portal of power is pretty interesting. I have a feeling that there's a story behind this new portal of power: that actually was a portal for the Cloudcracker Prison sending the bad guys in the crystals. But, when Kaos broke in and destroyed the prison, the portal was cracked and sent to Earth to be found by the portal masters.
I was sadly mistaken. :(

In regards to your rant about numbering the packaging, I totally agree. I work at Target, and I've been called over to the electronics desk before because the guy there knew I was a Skylanders fan, so he needed me to help out the guest who was looking for a specific character.

The two starter pack skylanders have the same elements as the two starter pack traps; maybe you will get a trap of the same element If you buy a trap master? That would be cool but I doubt it as there are only 16 trap masters and 40 trappable villains.
Villain vault! Interesting, and sidekick Spyro would be nice, so would legendary starter pack! guess its kinda too bad for the level cap, if i understood right its not increasing this time around

I have a good theory maybe instead of restarting the level if you don't have the right element there could be wanted poster around an you can go to one and select it to do a seporate short level when your ready to take them on

I got a regular rubble rouzer and in a regular skylander box but when I put him on the portal for trap team it said legendary
The whole getting mixed up thing just happened me just went to GameStop for a freeze blade they said they had I get there all they had was trap shadows I was still happy though I didn't have him yet so it's kind of worked out

just read spy rises bio and crankcase is spy rises dad plus the mini is bop because i have him.i needed terabite mini but it was original terabite so i went to tesco weren't there so i spent 1599 in games

I would love a download pack or something to allow me to at at least some of my new skylanders on the old games. Maybe just the "regular" characters. I want to play the original again, but as hotdog or something.

where did you get all the new skylanders and the portal?
this game is getting interesting. I do have a couple of questions, like will there be a double jump like the 3DS games? (like Hovering, glide, and just double jumping), are the Sheep Mage and Chompy mage related, will we see some returning villains other then the chompy mage? (like 3DS only villains, Sheep Mage, maybe the witch whom tricked Ignitor into putting on the cursed armor) and how's 3DS Skylanders will work.
Sheep Mage was in the sheep wreck island pack so not just the stupid 3DS

So, if I have the Chompy Mage In a trap, but then I defeat another life villain, I can put him in the villain vault? And then later, can I swap out the Chompy Mage with the other life villain, and use him? If yes, sweet!

Can you help me understand this? Are the different elements of traps in different waves or will all the elements traps be in wave one?
I bet there will be waves of them, so hopefully at least 1 of each of the remaining six elements are in wave 1. I bet the kaos trap though won't be out right away, and probably more sculpts of the traps will be out in the second and later waves

Chomper isnt a side kick if he attacks but i think kaos' mom should come out of the mirror with skylander clones that are like shadow glass which is very easy to destroy but they can teleport
