It's great to hear somebody pointing out what this can do as opposed to what it can't. It's strengths are in the simplicity and yet such complex tones can be achieved. One of the best and yet to be rediscovered. Hang on to it for a few years :)
I know its an old video. But i see this has MIDI in. Does this mean if I have a bassline i made in MIDI in my DAW, I can set a midi out channel and send this performance to the bass station 1??? I was looking at the rack version but if this works then i would prefer this little guy instead.
I know this is an old video but i wanted to see if you are still answering questions. I've owned my BS since 1993. I don't remember how to solve this problem. I have the midi TX & RX set correctly and midi controller works just fine. I hear a note that continues to play at a low volume even after i release the note that i'm playing. I've messed with the parameters and can't find a solution. Can you or anyone familiar with this help me out? I would really appreciate it. I have other analog gear but i'm stumped with this one. Thank you.

Billige Rotze und so klang das Teil auch. Absolut dünn. Wer diesen Sound als "fat" bezeichnet, hat noch nie einen richtig guten analogen Synth gehört...

If your DAW sends Midi it works, in the last part of the video a hardware sequencer controls the BassStation.....

@@Bady89-lg9sn Filter ist analog , sonst sind es zwei DCO´s , dafür ist der Sound gut

No, the sounds are mine. My BassStation doesn't have seven presets, or something is wrong with it. I can only save my own sounds. greetings
@@RinghausenMusic Do you need to load the synthie with batteries in order to retain your own patches in it`s memory?
