I offer you one of my favorite cakes - Le Napoléon. It is perhaps the most popular Russian cake, the cousin of the French mille-feuille. Moreover, it bears the name of the French emperor Napoleon. The Famous Russian Very Flaky Cake is a delicious and simple cake without baking. Easy and quick no-bake cake recipe - cookie cake
Recipe and ingredients:
2 eggs.
Today we are baking a no-bake Napoleon cake.
100 grams of sugar.
10 grams of vanilla sugar.
4 tablespoons of flour.
2 tablespoons of cornstarch (cornstarch)
Mix well.
800 ml of milk.
Simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
80 grams of butter.
Shape 20 cm.
500 grams of puff cookies.
The cake is ready without baking.
Put the Napoleon cake in the refrigerator overnight.

For those of us here in the states? 2 eggs, 2 1/3 teaspoons Vanilla, 1/2 Cup White Sugar, 4 Tablespoons flour, 2 Tablespoons Corn Starch, 3 1/3 Cups Milk, 1/3 Cup butter, About 5 Cups of cookies (Vanilla wafers work great, as do graham crackers, short bread cookies, any dry crumbly cookie you'd like to try)

My mom makes something similar called icebox, although it's made in a glass pan and with graham crackers instead of those pastries. I'm going to try her batter recipe and make layers with cookies like yours. Thank you for making such a great video!
Yea those pastry cookies taste different than Graham crackers. They are a lot flakier. I have seen them in Europe but I never saw them in the US or Canada. Graham crackers could be fine. They might just be a little bit soggier but will still give a good taste. I'm guessing you could use oreo too

I’ve bought them at aldi’s tj max Ross or Marshall’s in the states !
They're called "palm ears or elephant ears". They're made by rolling up puff pastry.

Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like the same thing can be made using Jello vanilla pudding that has to be cooked and vanilla wafers.
I'm saying this because, where I live? Those cookies may be hard to find.
The recipe in the description said "puff cookie". Not sure what that is.

Yes, it's Napoleon cake made easy. Just use a carton of extra thick custard as well and you can skip that bit. I think I would just put it in dessert bowls with a bit of whipped cream and fruit on top.
