Slothrust is criminally underrated. Every album they’ve put out has been amazing. Not many bands can say that.
That's why they are underrated. If people knew about this band; they would kick other popular bands to the curb. Mass media wouldn't want that now would they?

I checked the band out because of Johnny Stevens of HIGHLY SUSPECT and he sure is right about one thing...we will be thanking him later from introducing us to SLOTHRUST
Marianne Papapetrou just seen them open up last night for highly suspect in jersey, they are insanely great live, Johnny found a gem with this group

The production values are pretty high on this one, really feels like the band is coming into its own. This will probably remain one of my favorite bands of all time. Looking forward to the Seattle show next week!

I honestly like the production on everyone else the best. Perfect mix of high production value and still sounding natural, like just a band jamming.
@@matthewbeach2952 yea ive said it before many times but Everyone Else was the best to me because it was polished while staying organic and genuine. The Pact got a little too glossy for me

Wow... so as I write this I literally found out about this music maybe an hour ago, and I haven’t even had time to hit a quick google to see how long y’all have been around, if there are vinyls available, etc. I have been too engrossed in the music and videos (those hands movements are just so damn cool and charming) to do anything else-haha.
Those guitar tones tho... They hit me right where they should. Love the guitar tones on literally every song I’ve heard so far.

The cute animations give the song an entirely different vibe than it has without them. Peach conveys a feeling of pain, maybe regret, and the feeling of missing something you don't have anymore. Maybe I only feel that last bit because I recently lost something very important to me, I'm not sure. But the animations bring something new. Pain brought by childhood memories. An older wound. A memory that you fought so hard to get rid of, but now have learned to live with. A reflection on the vulnerability you used to suffer, and the bitter acknowledgment that because of it, you're stronger now. IT feels like all the things you want to say to who or what caused you that pain. I don't even know what brought this song into creation, but every time I listen to it I feel so deeply that before I even realize, I'm crying.
The only thing keeping her in this dimension is those cartoon animals
