- We decided to take a quick tour of the clipper ship, based in Port Adelaide, South Australia. This ship has a lot of history, way more than expected.
If you liked this be sure to stick around for part 2 the Maritime Museum.
WOW!! that's a big tall historical ship!! 🚢
This ship was a landmark for years in my home city of Glasgow, great to see it getting restored to its former glory in the city it was named after.

I enjoyed your Tourula. That first huge, wooden hulled clipper was amazing. Your winter beard makes me want some fish sticks. Thank you.
I swear man you look familiar to me lol you look like that actor from Mortal Kombat. The one who plays Raiden. Not the original Raiden but the second one. Great video

Hi Ben 👋 Thank you for sharing this wonderful video with us and I really enjoyed this one too 👍❤️😎
She may well be a hospital ship again the way things are going
She also had other names in her life history, while in Southampton she was moored on the River Test at Millbrook Point, she was a hospital ship for those who arrived in Southampton with Tropical diseases, and for war wounded
Kinda mad id seen this ship dry docked for years on years as a kid in irvine and never gave it more thought than an old ship beyond repair😂 didnt know it was the oldest of its type and its history till now actually accidentally stubling on it again. I assumed it was scrapped not in a restoration since 2013
Awesome explore Ben. I like old ships like that. They don't make them like they used to .
Passed her often as I drove my coal train to and from Hunterston in SW Scotland. So sad to see her rotting and abandoned and I really hoped us Poms as a sea faring nation might value our heritage more highly and save her! Was sad when I heard she was leaving but glad it was to the Aussies and you look like your doing her proud.
Its not abandoned my friend it is currently being restored to all its glory just a long process all the money raised on tour goes back into the project of restoring the ship 🙂 she is most definatly not rotting away
big ass boat! thanks for the video mate
I hit the like button on this video Ben 👍❤️😎
Another great video, Ben!!
Wow! How cool is that?!👍
Very cool 😎

Please paint the exteerior of the ship! Clipper ships were painted green or black with a gold cove stripe along the hull. She never had painted ports until the HMS Carrack years. TM retired maritime museum curator who likes sailing ships
