I am originally from Ukraine but had a chance to live in New York for 2 years. Now, a lot of people say that I have an American accent, and they believe it is solely due to the fact that I’ve lived in New York.

I saw an ad for Bold Voice in another video, and found this channel. Your English is fantastic, but with all due respect, your accent doesn’t sound “American” at all and I say this as someone from the US. One can definitely tell are from abroad, though as I said it doesn’t matter much in the end because your grammar is very, very good.
I also put “American” in quotes because even in the US, there are a number of regional accents. It’s similar to when people talk about a “British” accent.

your american accent is not coming through from the learning american accent. Your accent comes from the birth given by European family in America… Tell the truth…
