I just saw Dwight in concert in Laughlin, Nevada on 11/6/21. We drove several hours to go see him perform. This was my 5th Yoakam concert and was not disappointed! He still sounds amazing! His voice is so unique, one of a kind and in my opinion a national treasure!
I saw him in 2022 at Red Rocks. I have been a fan since the 80s and loved every minute of the show. I also love catching him in movies.

I saw him at Birmingham's City Stages (RIP) which was a cool festival. It was the coldest summer night the festival ever had. Dwight, however, was on fire and gave a killer show.
You could hear the crowd turn it up 10 notches when Dwight stepped to the mic. The man's seriously loved and respected by all music fans. 😎 Awesome show guys!! 🤘😁😎❤️

As a guitar tutor I suggested to my students that we put together a busking band. They're 15, 13 and 12. I do all the singing. Classic blues, rock and country. We live in Wellington, NZ. This is their favorite song. Something tells me Dwight would like that. lol

I have been a Dwight fan since the first time I heard Guitars, Cadillacs, HIllbilly Music. I saw him about 2 years ago in concert, great show and his band is amazing too. I am so glad that newer artists are appreciative of Dwight, he is a songwriting genius, love his country voice. Great video. Brothers Osborne really good on that opening verse and Keith what can you say about his guitar skills. off the charts.
Keith is definitely a really good guitarist! Look at his guitar. That tele didn't get to looking like that by sitting in the case. That wear and tear comes from playing it for 10000 plus hours. And not just on stage. He's great! And I'm not even much of a country fan.

Dwight is, and always will be, a true blue punk to me. One of the true kings of the LA scene. Cool to see the dude rock out still.
Keith is in my top 5 guitarists, and overall country entertainers. About 25 yrs ago a fairly unknown Keith Urban opened for Dwight in OKC at our version of Six Flags called Frontier City. Keith's band didn't make it due to a storm or something. The restless crowds rumble was so loud, and it a typical, end of summer, sweltering August night, and no one realized that Keith was trying to address the audience. So he just started playing the only guitar he had, and the rest was history. He addressed the crowd after the first song with news of his disconnected band, and went back to rockin his six string. When Dwight came out in black leathers, and that 2 tone leather coat he always wore, he grabbed the mic, and his 1st words were "goddamn its fukin hot." The energy, and level of enthusiasm the crowd had left just vanished. after just witnessing a once in a lifetime , impromptu acoustic masterclass from Keith, seemed to piss Dwight off. we stayed for all of it, but the crowd started thinning after the 3rd or 4th song, then the beer stands shut down causing a 2nd wave of mass exits. He's still ok in my book. I thought it was funny when he seemed to cuss the crowd out for how hot it was, but the crowd didn't. One dude said "no shit!"

Two things I realized about Dwight Yoakam is that not only is he top shelf musical genius, he is also a damn good actor. Any movie he's on he makes it a better movie. Thoroughly enjoy both.

glad to see him in this song, now even sexier....bravo boys, but Dwight is very much the 1st sexiest country performers (my opinion only) but I think many of us older women think so too. We'll never forget his rendition of " suspicious minds" by originally Elvis Presley, but boy, Dwight sure made that song come back to life with his beautiful voice and sexy leather pants, lol...
still remembering running to the tv when it was playing on much music...boy, we can now get it on demand through internet which is so great. Again many thanks to all artists for this amazing and sexy performance of this song.

I've been a big Dwight Yoakam fan since the git go. His voice, his shimmy that drives the girls crazy and his hat is the best of all time. It's cool to see him perform with some of today's new talent. Just like Buck Owens (RIP) helped propel Dwight to the heights while he was still young and new. Besides all that Dwight still KICKS A$$!!!

Keith is so amazing! He has it all! The looks, the voice, the guitar skill, I mean every thing! He puts every bit of himself into every song he performs…..I’m so grateful for the 4 times I’ve been able to see him live….if you’ve not had the chance to see him live, you are depriving yourself of 1 of the BEST days/nights of your life! I can’t wait til I can see him live again the last time I saw him at the end of the show he took 1 of his wristbands that he wore for the whole show and threw it to the fans…I got it. At one time, I wondered about the Sharon Stone/Dwight Yokam connection. Now, I think they were a perfect pair....insanely talented, raw sexuality, unconventional, totally independent, REBELS. PERFECT PAIR.
I admired DY for maintaining country style of vocals and music, while letting the brilliant musicians actually play and share the spotlight. That was not being done when he entered the scene.

I wondered why a guitar phenom like Keith would use a session man for guitars on his own album. Turns out Keith wanted a different sound and asked Tom to play. They got along so well, Keith recorded “Stupid Boy,” written by Tom’s wife, Sarah Buxton. Keith is a remarkable musician who seems to always be seeking new ideas in music. I applaud him for that and agree this video was a treat. I enjoy your channel, Michael.

Had tickets to see Dwight Yoakum in Canton ,Ohio unfortunately the show was cancelled 2x. I was going with my 81 year old mom. She's still kicking and will be 83 in aug
