  • Reginald Holland, plays a typical morning broadcast from the Odeon Blackpool in 1961. This is the only solo broadcast given from the cinema. The Conacher organ had 4 manuals and 13 ranks (or sets) of pipes. The organ was a 'transplant' from the Ritz Cinema in Southend on Sea and was installed in 1946.
Reginald Holland (1906-1995) was a dance band pianist, who was used to deputise at the Wurlitzer organs in Blackpool's famous Tower and Empress Ballrooms.
