Why would X need to take all the usbs from Marty & put them in his pockets if he only wanted to swap OTTs green for the racks he stole? He shouldn't have needed to take them at all. That's kinda what's confusing, because many are saying Marty is in the wrong. X tried to pull his gun in the car too so idk.
He didn't even need to take the USBs to make the deal. It just made it look extra sketchy
Side note to consider: xQc and omie planned Marty's exit from the Company. The talk with Yuno at the bike park and the argument JP and Marty had on the rooftop in front of the Company was so they could see the Company's reaction.
So, is this whole thing another setup to see how Lang's crew will react?
@@popburnsy3207 honestly i think this whole thing is planned by marty and jp to get cg to press lang's crew to hand over the usbs without marty's hand getting dirty so marty can still stay in cb and jp+CG get the dongles.
only thing is the plan backfired bc lang and yuno won't budge and actually used the usbs bc lang felt petty af. marty probably was assuming lang would never use them bc of how adamant lang was to keep the crew/resources separate and would wait on marty's full explanation.
also marty was kind of hinting something during xmart's struggle after the night that they knew yuno got the green. jp was spitballing ideas and marty asked jp to stop talking bc x was still streaming.
also why tf would marty not talk to any of his crew when he tweeted he was awake and the first thing he did was talk to ramee? he never answered any calls from cb. marty sus af.

I don't know if that plan would involve jp getting shot & langs crew turning in the usbs first tho. Seems extreme.. I'd lean towards it was a spontaneous event that arose from a wild X decision, more so than a plan, but I really don't know. Confusing one, & I'm not sure how a future convo between them will go!

JP was planning on leaving Marty behind. He literally said "If I can't do it with you, I'll get there" while heavily insinuating to Marty that he had already robbed the USB's. He also lied to everyone later on about what happened saying that Marty shot him for no reason. He went full snake mode and Marty is 100% in the right.

Finally an edit that shows how X was the one who betrayed Marty by pulling House Heist 2.0 and Marty being smart and not letting X get away with robbing him. X being DEAD last now thanks to his own doing is hilarious 😂
X said he absolutely wasn’t going to steal all usbs and cut Marty out . Marty even admitted he knows X wasn’t going to do that but had had enough of X making all the decisions without him. Marty saved x from company disaster and felt like X used him to get out of bad situation and was still receiving zero respect.

you can only screw over so many people so many times before you lose everything.
the road X is going down, he's going to be alone with no real friends. just people who follow him for his name.
X isn't thinking long term at all, he's only thinking about his own progression.
he's already screwed over the company and went to war with lang. two of the main groups doing things right now.
X wants Marty to be part of his group but Marty doesn't want to screw his friends over and lose Lang's trust. X telling Marty to rob them (even jokingly) is pushing Marty away from wanting to be in X's group and possibly even contemplating their friendship.

Jp is looking at this from a zero-sum game (as in win or lose situation). While X wants to get to this next checkpoint first, he's making deals and breaking trust with those he's using. To get there and in the end loses those friends. (at least for now)

Yuno was offered a free red dongle from civ gang and turned it down. They could have just given it to K and been like "this isn't the one stolen from you, its a sign of good faith. don't trust X" and watch another bridge fall apart for him.
I feel like that wouldn't do anything. K wants to have the full set, so he'll strong arm then for whatever is missing if he thinks they might have them.
You are operating on the assumption that Yuno knows what CG/K wants when Yuno doesn't even know Marty's full story and if CG is telling the truth bc from his POV he knows none of what he used to turn them in are CG's USBs. Yellow he knows for sure is Marty and not cgs, while the red is questionable. Yuno would never take Civ Gang's dongle bc he doesn't use his friends like that unlike CG.

have not seen the absolute shit show he put marty thorugh during the company arc? and now that they had a deal that non of the usb's belongs to x and he cant decaide what to do with them without marty what did you expect him to do he wasn't gonna get the usbs back from jp and how else do you make a point when you are faced with someone like jp?
JP keeps testing Marty and pushing his buttons. Marty doesn't fold to JP's wants and demands and won't steal Lang's green, so JP retaliates by being petty and "stealing" Marty's USBs and making a deal with OTT without telling Marty.
From Marty's POV he thought JP would never do a house heist on him but he did so he retaliated and shot him. From JP's POV he was just about to tell Marty the good news that he's gonna complete the rainbow but he gave zero comms to Marty about all of his plan and Marty's distrust from JP's robbery caused him to shoot JP first.

People need to stop complaining and appreciate how complex and good roleplay can be. It's easy to be nice and be friends with everyone, it's difficult to make decisions like this against someone whom you are roleplaying with for years.

great story. The only thing that was a little sad was how even though jp is the crazy one he never shot marty and said he never would. and after 20 heists and no green usb he was giving away all his racks just so they could progress. and Marty shot him.

To my understanding, the dongles Lang used weren't even X's. In another comment section, someone shared some times stamps of Omie showing it was Marty and his crew + Yuno got the yellow and Marty's crew got the red. Neither were with X
If he truly stole them, why on earth would he bring them back? Make it make sense. The real truth behind all of this is Marty wanted to make peace with everyone and didnt care about progression as much. On the other side, X wanted to do anything possible to progress. X acheived his goals and Marty took it personal becaue it wasn't the way he wanted to do it.
We can all agree that X's character is an adhd unhinged dipshit but he gets things done. Marty couldn't handle being his caretaker if he couldn't control the leash. This was bound to happen unless one of them put their ego aside. We all know JP isn't capable of that so it was up to Marty. Unfortunately, Marty couldn't either and this is the result.
I don't think shooting without a dialogue first is as great rp as this comment section makes it to be , even him deep down know he fucked up a bit given their history and storyline. Even the words he said afterwards made things way weirder , i think deep down he feels it wasn't it.

You hate the character because you see his character from other pov. His pov, he is literally confused why he is getting the blame or being accused of lying and shit. Its funny and all seeing him as the "shadow leader" but he has never done damage to anyone but his really really close friends (when he is civ mode) which is usually doing stupid stunts. Never stuff like stealing, killing, hiring hitman or lying. He does business on his oen accords, giving not too much and not to less information to gain back the information he needs. He plays his role pretty well which is why he has connections. But sometimes, with miscommunication and wrongful accusation + someone stirring the pot (JP). He gets inbetween the shots fires of gangs/crews. Usually it's caused by JP whenever he gets blamrd for some else's doing. I do get your point, but in Yuno's pov. He is clueless to this drama. All he knows is that X claims that "marty" stole his stuff while also knowing Marty would never do such thing (without a good reason). If they want their shit back, why go to lang's crew. Besides that, Ramee also was misinformed because he thinks marty is working with lang (which he is, but nobody but the crew knows that) cuz all Lang ever said was Marty is just an associate just like Yuno. But somehow they know the meta like they've been spying on them.
