Outstanding all around. Of all Saint-Saens' Cto # 2 available on CZcams, this is probably the best. Perfection of the interpretation (phrasing, articulation, clarity of sound, variety of colors, lightness of pedal... wow!) well served by an excellent balance of sound recording and smart video editing. Kudos to the RAI technical team: they know what they are doing but more importantly, they understand the music... Thank you, Matteo!
One of my favorite concert pianist. Precise, elegant, technically phenomenal, and a superbly poetic interpreter. Check him playing Saint Sean Concert n.5 in Buenos Aires: breathtaking!!!
I love chamayou
Me too!
In all my years of watching and listening to this concerto, I've never heard crispier notes. And everything's on time. Not to mention the intensity. It's beyond perfect.
Don’t forget to check out the encores as well!
I love this guy! Bertrand Chamayou is a new discovery and I am enchanted! ♥
He is one of the best young pianists. He is currently in his fourties’ and I like a lot of what he’s done. Did you listen to some of his recordings?
NOW I will! ♥@@MaScalo4508
His Mendelssohn album is outstanding!
