When do we hv to change the chords? Like is there a specific number of pucking the change the chords know wht i mean?😭

i get why you're confused, it's actually simpler so it basically works like this:
- since we are only plucking the E string and A string, the am chord is not necessary to be played or executed.
- when the chord is "d" you only actually have to press the 3rd string-2nd fret
- when the chord is g or em, your index finger presses the 4th string-2nd fret and your middle finger on the 3rd string-3rd fret
