1 year later... and the answer is yes you can
I have a comment or a suggestion. Make another video for the s20 that has the slot SIM card and memory card on both sides. More or less I have an s20 and you put the SIM card on top with the gold Parts facing up and the memory card underneath with the gold Parts facing down away from the metal part that is in the middle of the one section not two sections for individual cards like you're showing I hope that made sense.

The tray on my S20 is only for the sim card
Verizon needed more space to accommodate additional antenna bands for mmWave 5G support so Samsung made a custom S20 model for Verizon. No microSD slot and only 8GB RAM not 16GB like other carriers' S20. Verizon doesn't point that out.
I just checked because that's what I thought too, but it turns out there is actually a spot for a micro SD on the other side of the sim card tray!
@@tylervass32 You had my hopes up, so I checked, and there isn't a spot for MicroSD on the backside of my sim card tray.

The sd card goes on the opposite side of the sim card in the same slot. Look up info on internet.

So moving the SIM card from an older phone will work automatically? Just want to make sure, I’ve did it one other time with a phone but the SIM cards were different sizes and had to basically set up the sim as new and register the number to it.. looks super easy from your video and I also know it’s a bit older..

On the top and bottom of the phone the extra dot would be the mic. On the top there is only the antenna band, mic, and sim tray.

My first time adding an sd card to a phone. On my S20FE I noticed the cards are not next to each other. They sandwich the tray with the tray being in the middle. Thanks for the vid! Quick and to the point.
Sooou... purchased 1024 GBs because my storage is blowing up. This MAY be obvious to everyone but me but 1024 GB IS considered 1 TB. NOT 24 OVER the memory card max for s20s. When I researched memory card maximums for Galaxy s20's they only take UP to 1T (terabyte) (and states in various videos) which of course I didn't research until AFTER I bought it. 4 calls, 3 videos and one refund order later - I repeat 1TB = 1024 GB. When putting in the new Sim card, how does the phone recognize your phone number. Example using the old Sim card in a new phone, your phone will ring dialing your number but if you use the new Sim card that came with the phone, how is your number register to the new phone?

As long as the phone is unlocked or an international brand then yes Thai SIM card will work. My phone is unlocked and when I travel abroad I take out my sim and put in new sim from that country. countries sim. SD card doesn’t matter.

I know if you buy the phone from your provider then they send you a SIM card. Not sure about buying the phone straight off the Samsung website tho
Yes, Samsung provides a new Sim card, you have to specify what provider when ordering the phone on their website

The title should read Micro SD card, not SD Card. Two completley different products and only one will fit in this device.
You gotta reduce your use of the phrase "go ahead and..." Seriously brah, you used that phrase maybe fifteen times in this video and in some cases, mere seconds apart. Your more recent vids have the same issue. Just honest feedback. I get we all became attached to certain phrases but broheim, vary up the language (e.g. "I'll proceed with that now"; "Let's do that now").

Wait....how is this a thing? I tried to upgrade but didnt because no sd card slot. I still have the s10 and its all because of this. Like cool yall are making more money but its psychotic to take it out. Also the side of micro sd cards...why tf do phones not have at least 5tb of internal storage?
