    I'm watching this again for the second time, after a little upset with someone. Now your fatherly advice is bringing back a happy smile on my face. Dignity, self-accountability, and responsiveness to people 'below' our level. Thank you!

      Baskoro Indrayana I did the same as u. Second time watching this too and inspired by what this man teaches. I realized I have control of how I want to feel about people. Can't stand being angry now at anyone, only got one life to live.

    i liked the idea...simple but important to remind yourself that the power to choose which road to take..generally we forget that we control our choice rather than the situation letting control our choices..

    I work on giving people the benefit of the doubt and treating people as I would like to be treated. Conflict is just not worth it, that small guy may have had a weapon or just may have been having a horrible day. We all have overreacted so I try to keep calm.

    A lot of people have parasite infections and hormonal emotional problems because of that and are perpetually angry and sad excuses for humans.

    These are some great tips.. I'm having anger issues nowadays and I do lose my "sanity" and get angry at people or circumstances/events too. I do have one question though.. is anger same as frustration?

    • @GregDenning
      @GregDenning Před 7 lety +1

      Thanks Rafia. I think they are different, but frustration can lead to anger if we are not in control. It's just so important to have emotional mastery and control. It affects everything we do. Reach upward!

    O MY GOD IS THAT ALL I HAVE TO DO? WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF IT SOONER...let me turn on my "be nice" button hell, I didn't need to seek help by coming here cuz its just that simple.....BEY ANGRY PPL JUST BE NICE problem solved...i really wanted to like this but this was truly a waste of time and an insult to people with anger issues.... this is advice is like telling an alcoholic "I found the secret to sobriety, don't drink"....but you got what u wanted ....u got another view and comment

      Sorry you feel this way Just Aman. I actually had a horrible temper when I was a teen. I hit things, broke things and fought often. I can offer advise because I've come from where I was to where I am. Ultimately, it simply is just a firm resolution, a decision to stop being angry and stop blaming others. You can choose to get mad or you can choose to be calm. The choice is always yours!

    It DOES matter what someone says and does. Does anyone believe or practice accountability anymore? I agree with having self control %100 and not allowing someone else's crappy behavior to affect your own but when the heartbreak/anger/disappointment is so great that it literally kills you inside... Its like a cheating wife blaming her actions on her husband because he works too much or something. WTF?! We all make mistakes and what really pisses me off about society is that ON ONE seems to hold themselves accountable for the pain and destruction THEY cause! So yea I'm fucking angry! So...does that mean I'm blaming my reasonable anger on someone else? I'm not blaming anyone else for how I feel. I'm holding them accountable for what they did to hurt me. Thats hurt lingers and becomes anger and rage. Society is full of hypocrites man.

    The reasons I get angry most of the time are:
    1-Familly members.
    2-Video Games
    3-Too much noise

    Not necessarily there is people do that do cover their ass when they hurt people on purpose they'll push it on you and said you was in the wrong people like the elite people so please stop and saying it doesn't matter what other people do you should never getangry or upset when they do really messed up self to you I'm not talking about cutting you off on the driver Lane
