- On the last day of the Dungeness Crab season, I linked up with my friends, Tiant, Larry, and Rudy. We went crabbing early in the morning of June 30, 2019 at Pacifica Pier. We managed to catch two keeper Dungeness crab and one keeper Red Rock Crab. Not content with those results, Tiant and I went to Fort Baker and caught thirteen more Red Rock Crabs! Also, I give a brief tutorial on banding of crab claws as a safety precaution and to preserve your catch.

Finally found you man. I was the guy with the beard that kept bugging you guys lol...
Lutfi Abed awesome glad you found it!
Definitely bro... hope I run into you guys again.
Just an observation but the better net or pot crabbing seems to be on the south side of the pier? Not a clue why? Just something i've noticed?
Outdoor freedom I’ll test that observation out next time I’m at the pier.
Where’d you get your plastic banding tool and rubber bands?
Any tricks on how to pick those up?
Pick what up?
@@outdoorschoolofthought the crabs, without getting pinched
@@stephenrothman6058 Grab the two back legs and firmly grasp them together. Keep the front of the crab facing away from you. If you have to handle the claws, fold the pinchers downward towards the mouth and have the elbows point forward. Then grasp both front arms together just like you would the back legs with a firm grip.
