I see what you're doing, Rupert:
Making sure that people looking for a van to build into a camper have a reassuring shell to work with.
    Great service. Good luck!

Brilliant video.. I have just bought an Iveco daily, this exact model, Ex police van identical to this with 48k on the clock, its an 09 van... the Eberspacher Air Con unit above the cab is in operating condition thankfully,, I have removed a small portion on the plastic lining in the rear to check what insulation is there, its the old fibreglass itchy brown stuff, not well fitted and lots of gaps, there is also no vapour barrier.. the eber D2 Airtronic heater looks fine inits protected cage... however, whoever decommissioned this has gone mad with wire cutters and disconnected the split charge system, removed the leisure battery from under the passenger seat.. consequently I cant seem to power up the two ceiling fans or any of the rear interior lights... so I am going to have to remove all the interior seats , racking and plastic roof/wall linings to insulate properly and vapour barrier.. whist doing this I can access the wiring for the Fans, light and heater.. It has been suggested that above the cab where the Eber air con is fitted there is an electrical system (Genesis ???) that provides power to all the rear items, so hopefully I can get them powered up again.. The Unwin seat rails in the floor are tough to remove, got most of the bolts out but had to drill 6 of them, the floor is just plywood covered with Lino type material, not insulated.. just deciding whether to insulate it or leave it in situ. The Macralon windows, same as the one in this vid are being changed for glass with one opener, they look nice but are flexible and rattle a lot.

I've had several Iveco vans over the years, never had one with warning lights on the dash whilst the engine was running.

Just pulling apart one of these for a friend but it was a ex prison van and they are a pain no vapour barrier so the rock wool is soaking wet and caused a bunch of rust that's being welded up and the roof escape hatches leak like crazy so ripping out as now rust and will never seal properly do not recommend for and serious conversion
