@@ndnd7614 lol. They have a better chance of getting swept than sweeping Denver. Miami might win 1 game.
For a guy who was never supposed to be "the guy," Jimmy Butler has stepped up for every team he's played for. When Derrick Rose went down with injuries, Jimmy stepped up for the Bulls. When Kat was playing soft, Jimmy stepped up for the Timberwolves. When Ben Simmons was playing like trash, Jimmy stepped up for the Sixers. And when the Heat needed a star, Jimmy stepped up once again. This is a guy who is never considered a superstar, but defies expectations every year and is probably the greatest underdog story in basketball

Agree 💯
I definitely agree
Someone get this man a sports writer contract
Ive witnessed alot of Miami Heat basketball in my 28 years of living, but no doubt this has been the wildest run I've witnessed.
IF JIMMY HAD any class he should have turned around after receiving that trophy from Alonzo and gave it to Caleb Martin. Caleb Martin was the true hero of that series.
Both Heat and Panthers 8 seeds in finals it’s been a ride in South Florida
@The Great Barnacle nah it was jimmy. He was primary offensive and defensive guy.
@@lightfight8r Without a doubt!! That kid, however, is going to get a large payday from someone!
@@lightfight8r stop lol
There’s a reason he didn’t touch it. It had nothing to do with class.
Jimmy embraced Celtic players and even thanked his team mates after that win.
For as silly as it sounds, there’s a superstition surrounding touching the conference title trophy. Many teams, players, coaches wouldnt touch the conference title trophy either for this reason.
A more practical explanation is, he’s thinking : “The jobs not finished” a la Kobe Bryant.
This series has just been an emotional rollercoaster. From Miami winning the first three games straight then losing games four in dominate fashion, and with game 6 being decided by one point. And to finish it off with players actually being able to play hard in game 7. This was just an amazing series. And I think the NBA needed it to be this way since the WCF was a sweep.
The nba wanted it this way. The selltics were just flopping everywhere and Tatum was complaining about every call
even tho the WCF was a sweep i still think those were four very entertaining games..
The one thing worries about Miami, is their rebounding. Bam needs some help on that department. If Bam was not close to the basket there was no one else near to get the rebound. The Nuggets got three big guys in the starting line up. Rebounding will be a priority!!!
@@BentonStaff they you just don’t like basketball and only like making hot takes😂😂 bro those were some of the most entertaining 4th quarters every game Jamal had like 25 in the 4th plus the last game was 1 possessions and game 1 was close till the last 30 seconds plus game 3 was a crazy back and fourth catch up

There is bad play to talk about. So of course they mentioned Russ.

'Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard.' describes this series perfectly.
The Heat are and have been embarrassing wide parts of the NBA with this roster... there are so many teams with more talent that just can't get it done.
Pat Riley, maybe 20 years ago, had a quote I had on my fridge that "Effort is a talent" Amen.
This will be the greatest ring ever won if the Heat can manage to pull this off against Denver.
I can't see Jokic being stopped man I have always respected dudes play. I know Jokic is getting 1 eventually, and I think this is his year man that man is some else. I am a Mavs fan thru and thru and I have prayed for a Luka Jokic pairing for years now.
Eh idk about that. I don’t see bam stopping jokic and 36 year old Kyle Lowry keep up with Jamal Murray. I see nuggets stomping the heat maybe heat can get a game or 2 but its not gonna be close
We will trust and believe in heat culture
@@DHankins19 bet when jimmy goes Batman Jimmy and we clamp the joker, we will see what else the nuggets have aside from Murray
True...I think Denver wins but if Miami can pull it off that just might be the all-time great playoff run.
Caleb Martin was the most consistent player this series
Caleb deserved the MVP. My boy was on fire the whole series.
Because he has a lot of wide open shots when Butler is doubled 😒😒 Jimmy Butler deserved the MVP for orchestrating the team..
Tatum turned his ankle and I said, “That’s why you don’t go down 0-3.” You have to not only play better than the other team, you also have to avoid any bad luck. It’s hard to stay lucky for 4 straight games.
When they both said “yup” at the same time @ 1:43 😂😂😂😂😂

So proud of my Heat 🔥
Wasn’t confident but Tatum and Brown are the kings of inconsistency, particularly Brown
yeahhhhhhh as a dubs fan i was getting excited about him not being so happy in boston, and he went to school in the bay and loved the bay, so i thought man this can be real good for us. but after seeing the guy fold like a cheap suit two years in a row got me like "well maybe not" cuz you know he gonna be expensive
I agree with everything except, tatum is more of a choke artist than brown is. Just last year everyone was saying brown had more in him than tatum
Particularly Tatum bro. Sometime brown don’t even get a chance

What a series! It got dragged out but Miami won. Go Jimmy and the Heat!
Big JB fan but he never addressed his flaws in the offseason. Still no handle, careless turnovers. Celtics need a passing PG who has the IQ to read and beat a simple zone
Trust to confirm, his talking about Jaylen Brown, not Jimmy Butler. 😂
Celtics are in an awkward spot
Trade Brown- unless you get an equal or better star that very likely leads to Tatum leaving
Keep Brown- you’ve basically got room for the duo and a bunch of minimum guys, not a championship team
This had to be the year and they simply failed, everyone besides Derrick White shoulders some blame.
Malcom Brogdon was a perfect fit until he got injured...
They need to get him out of there not gone lie I know that JT gone be hurt but he needs some help I HOPE WE GET DAME.
Jb played better than tatum this playoffs
What makes me happy is the Celtics celebrated on the Heat’s floor after game 7 last year, and last night the Heat returned the favor.
Heat were the #1 seed last year and went to the ECF. They were only 3 games away from being the 5th seed and 2 from the 6th seed. They also had a bit of injuries at the beginning of the season.
Yeah the Heat were not a normal #1 seed
Number #8 seed I mean
Caleb Martin went crazy
He saved the Heat along with Vincent.
He was GREAT
Caleb Martin played insanely good and sound basketball in this series. Major credit to this Heat squad for doing what no one thought was possible too.
Come on now, Herro being out and Embiid's torn meniscus in the semis were much bigger deals than the Tatum's rolled ankle. And Jimmy's ankle is not 100% either.

I wouldn't say always the franchise changed when they got Pat Riley. Dude is a all time legend.
So far these playoffs have been so entertaining to watch. Grats Miami
I think the biggest sequence of the game was the first two possessions of the fourth quarter. Tatum blows a wide open, and I mean wide open, layup to cut the lead to 8, and in turn, Miami gets a wide open 3 in transition making the lead 13. Huge swing and set the tone for the 4th. Heat probably would’ve won either way, but that sequence was huge to start the 4th.
Yep that was the beginning of the end because they were sticking within 10-12 range for a few minutes and then it was gone. I think they were down 6 at one point in the 3rd quarter
This is a fantastic segment. Great work guys

It gives me a bad vibe, in general sports talks are like this and it just feels like why aren’t we appreciating greatness more than attacking the flaws of everyone
The Miami Heat played hard and with heart. They played team ball and it was an exciting Cinderella story to watch unfold before our eyes as the Hear lost to the up and coming Hawks in the first round of the play in them came back after that by winning every series after that. I was worried all the praise being heaped on Jimmy Butler would miss with his mind a little and cause him to press in the final round against Boston but they proved me wrong as they won the first three games but then suddenly lost three straight almost winning the sixth game of not for failing to block out White as he laid a missed time expiring shot back into the bucket. One team came ready for game seven in Boston and that team wasn’t Boston as Miami won with ease after Tatum got injured it didn’t seem like Boston was prepared to step up. Finally to see a sub who I like Dunkin Robinson deliver the it’s over pose as he ran down the court with his hand under his ear daring the fans to show any excitement. I think everyone knew it was over at that point.
Jimmy Butler played good but I was waiting for Caleb Martin to be named MVP.

Man even if he wasn’t hurt we would’ve still won
The Celtics were building a second TD Garden with all those bricks 😂😂😂
It’s the coaching simply resilient and great poise from the Heat
When JB looked in the camera and said "ohh we gone win this game!"... I believed him 😂 but on the other hand JT was hurt good series though
I agree with Shannon, JT rolled his ankle early in the game so that the Celtics loss the game.
Excuses aht aht don’t do it. Jimmy rolled his to and before the series the media dissed Miami the whole series ridiculous
@@jayreed5363 how did the media diss Miami ? Everybody on ESPN and all of these major networks was giving Miami they’re credit when they was up 3-0 and some people picked them to win before the series. Y’all just mad because a ESPN computer analytics program predicted the C’s would win the series
He had 6 other games to win the series
@@wayno115 3% where have you been every topic been what Boston did to lose vs the heat just was better
