Hey guys! Here's a 3 month update on the process of growing out my hair. I started off with a disconnected undercut and now I'm pretty much at the awkward stage haha. Anyways, here is how I've been maintaining it and keeping it looking as clean as possible! Hope you dig it!

Damn I wish I had straight hair like that. My hair is wavy. Not wavy enough that it gives me awesome volume or that kind of rugged/messy, fine look. Still, its not straight enough that I can style it easily, or that it falls quite like yours does. Quite annoying really.

I am also growing out my hair, and luckily I am starting to exit the awkward phase. It's so cool because I've never had my hair as long as it is, and it behaves totally different at this length! It starts to get this nice waviness that I'm really digging!!!

I like it that you do hairstyle, men's health and hygiene content and you sneak those motivational toughts at the end of your videos.
So I decided that I am going to grow out my hair, so I searched the web and stumbled upon your videos. The main reason for growing my hair out is that I want to be able to do more with it. It's probably an inch and a half to two inches on top. The sides have a fade to it, a 0-1. It's also straighter than me, lol. I find your videos very inspirational when I want to cut my hair off. I feel like with my hair is going through the awkward stage. The left side, unlike the right, falls to the right while the right falls forward. I need some guidance on how to style it and to keep at the growing process. I've already told my stylist she's not allowed to cut the top no matter how hard I beg. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Love your videos!!

@@adil0028 woops sorry for not updating at all until now 😂 I ended up growing it for about 3 years, so I had some really long hair. I cut it last year June 2019. I'm bad at estimating how long the measurements were, but it went down about midway down my chest. I also shaved the nape of my neck throughout those 3 years, so my hair might've been a few inches longer if I didn't. I ended up cutting it pretty much because I wanted to try out different hairstyles, so I buzzed my whole head in the end lol
TBH that hair cut is everything. So 80s, early 90s

Dre Drexler are you going for a Leonardo DiCaprio look from Titanic?
Dre Drexler did you blow dry or did you just put claymation in? Looks like you have good volume.
Tip for people who want to get the Leonardo DiCaprio Hairstyle from Titanic is to start with a pretty short undercut or fade, length on the sides does not really matter as long as the top of the sides are slightly longer than the very bottom part around the ears, top of your hair should be around 3 inches at the front and 2 inches at the very back. From there you want to grow it out while trimming your neck area every now and then to keep it short while letting the rest of the hair grow.
Lucky your hairs are so silky. Mines are rough.

Took up your suggestion with "Claymation" and I can say hands down it's my absolute favorite product. I have extremely thick/unruly hair and Claymation really takes control of the situation. Also, my girl and coworkers have gone crazy over my new and improved hair (all thanks to your video tutorials) so thanks for all your help man. Keep on doing great work!

Hello, i have hair like yours(very thick) does Claymation leave the hair with a very matte color? I say this because I don't like waxes that seem to take away color from the hair, I prefer a little shine

I had the Jack Dawson cut around late 2013 and had it until spring of 2014 when I decided to replicate a cut Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance had. The Leo cut is probably the lowest maintenance cut I've ever had; it required minimal product and overall minimal upkeep. As long as it's cut right, it pretty much should fall into proper form after blow drying.

it is diffucult for people whose hair is rough and wavy, like mine. The way I was able to grow my hair was to use a permanent hair straightener method that is keratin therapy applied at a professional salon. I had 7 times of the treatment in 3 years. Now, I have long and straight hair and I am planing to stop having any more of it and let my hair turn into its natural wavy appereance. I used the process just to help myself with growing hair. BTW, keep in mind that keratin therapy can lead to cancer in long term. So do not think it as someting you can do until you die, at some point you have to give up.

well just watched your video and this was really great and interesting ! , and also just watched titanic like a week ago with my GF and yes your hair is getting REALLY close to leonardo's hair in the movie Really like , but yeah unfortuanally i cant do that because i have carlos roberto wavy hair :'(, But if you are planning going back to the undercut somewere let the top be like 6.5-7inches and the sides then 1#-3# or something.

super digging the 7:3 side part bro. I've been rocking it too! I dont see a lot of people wearing it in America doe, and certainly its a good thing for us lol
my hair right now is about 6 inches, 1 ish inches on the sides. it is very awkward. still not long enough to slick back like you did with yours because some sections in the front are only like 3 inches. All i can really do are side sweeps.
*edit* however, once it is about that length i shouldn't have the problem you were having because my back is 5 ish inched where as my front is 6-6.5
