With the SmartHitch2 attachment system, it's as easy as flip, plug and switch to attach your BOSS snow plow. Watch to learn how to attach your snow plow to your truck. Visit: www.bossplow.com
Have same issue as well with the ppwer* ground plug took a replacement copper connector and hammered it to fit male ends. Now it's the hand controller😅WTF GRRR
I haven't seen a plow where the lights plug themsleves in. A kickstand is easy to use and reliable. If the switch fails, you can put it in float and push it up manually or push the down button on the controller. You can actually be off by quite a bit lining these plows up. I know, I've done it. Snow doesn't get into the box, but if it does, the wiring and pump/ hydraulic reservoir is sealed. Next..........
Thank you for your feedback! We get the question often as to if someone should purchase a V Blade or a Straight Blade. What are your opinions? Do you pick one over the other based on location that you are plowing? Would love to hear your insights to share with other customers.
Hi Kyle - Pricing and product availability can be found by contacting an authorized BOSS dealer. A listing of dealers can be found by visiting bossplow.com/dealer-locator. Thank you!
That switch is to switch between truck and plow lights. All it does is turn on a relay. Yeah Western feet work well, I'll give you that. Boss plows are just as expensive as Western's. Our Boss 7'6" straight blade Superduty was about 4k. Not cheap by any means.
Im talking about the stupid light switch that you need to use to turn the plow lights on and off. Also why does the switch need a on/off switch?? Western feet are just as reliable and much easier to use and just work better. And I use both the junk in the video and western ultra's. I feel bad for people that fall for buying this junk or cant afford a good plow. The design of this plow is a gimmick. Its a cute little plow. It should come with a purse.
How come the lights cant be automatic like all other plows?? And why a kickstand?? Why not use something adjustable while the plow is off the truck?? And how can you attach the plow alone if that switch fails?? Oh wait...... You get what you pay for I guess. What if your not perfectly straight when you drive in?? lol.. Cant do that either. And what happens when the hydraulic box fills with snow and freezes?? Just one poor engineering design after another with these things.
You guys make it seem so easy. Today I put my plow on I needed a jack to hook it up. Every year it's the same jack and bar
Thank you for your informative video. I'm a 59 y/o woman who knows nothing about plows or plowing snow.
Thanks Brian for the reassurance and tips I just bought a Boss 2wks ago and waiting for it to snow. Cant get some guys away from their pacifiers
