I typed out this long and eloquent response to your comment and then for some reason it didn't post it!!! So I'll give you the short version. You're probably correct. Since however Thames is a pseudonym and I cannot find anybody pronouncing it in reference to this author I went with Thames. I do extensive research to find how to pronounce author names since names are important to me. And yes, that's the really short version of my response that didn't make it! Thank you for listening and for the "Great series! 👏" compliment!!
There's a story based on the same premise--a man is the last one alive after an apocalypse and he is trying to make it to the sea in order for his body to be the host for new life. The reader assumes that it is our culture that has expired, but the last line of the story is about the man seeing the stars in his last minutes, and the constellations are out of order. He "fathered" us and the dead civilization existed millions of years ago. Have no clue of the title or author. Enjoyed this one!
Well done. Thank you Scott

Pretty sure Thames is pronounced “temz” like the river that runs through London. Great series! 👏
